The thing about birks is that the cork sole looks the same thickness despite the size. So if you have a foot smaller than a size ten they look really stupid because the sole is too thick for the length.

That's why birks look stupid on women.

No, iron is a good neutral color that works well with earth tones but can still be worn with brown pants.

Setting aside my loathing for Birkenstocks for a second, I wouldn't really recommend them for walking around a hot city. They seem to slip around a lot. I was on a vacation in a tropical area a few weeks ago and the guy in my group wearing birks wouldn't stop complaining about it, though I don't recall the full details.

If you are going to walk around a bit, something like a nice pair of plimsolls might make more sense.

You could also invest in breathing sneakers (prime/flyknit, Geox if you are fearless) familia, sandals will always be pretty lame imo

I just went to the beach a couple of weeks ago and spent the whole time wearing some vans surf shoes. Walked a fuckton and they did the job pretty well.

Now I wouldn't recommend vans specifically but a pair of plimsolls are a really good option.

I like the iron coloway, too bad it's been discontinued.

I don't even wear burks but at least they are anatomically correct. I loathe having to wear my dress shoes even though they are really nice ones.

Cant speak for the difference in the sole. But teva looks too basic. Plus, Mr. Porter had a 50% off a few weeks ago, which made the purchase of the kissev an easy purchase.
