Why carrying a knife over a multi tool?

not pictured: wayfarers

are you me

also I have that lens

What would be a simple, affordable, and decently Veeky Forums way to carry an ipad, keys, notepad or notebook, maybe a small book, and the ability to hold a dslr maybe on its own?

a small bag of sorts

like a messenger bag

how much was the camera
been looking for a compact like that for a while now

Jeez, does everybody here carry an SLR?

I only carry 3 things.

Pentax bros!

daily reminder that if you dont actually use the items you carry (knives, tools, cameras, books) people with meaningful lives WILL notice and you WILL look like a tryhard

not saying any of you doing that, but i've encountered it quite a bit and its probably the least attractive thing someone could do

What are those two plastic things to the left of the camera?

fucking millennials

migrasi dari darahkubiru, bro ?

film for the camera

that olympus is not an slr =)

Been talking english for so long and out of the country that i've forgotten the language. Maafkan saya

you're not indonesian ? you're not in indonesia ? why do you have indonesian money ?

Im am Indonesian, Im in Jakarta, but i've been studying in Malaysia for over half my life in surrounded by International students and the white men. I've only just arrived here a month ago, staying here for good though.

posting the ultimate edc

Nice camera, what film do you shoot with? What sort of photos do you take?

Also inquiring for

olympus XA fag here

I use mostly ektar 100, portra 160, superia 200 for 35mm

I take photos of all sorts of stuff but my film stuff is usually always for personal documentation unless I have a particular vision that requires a tiny film camera

Apartment and mail keys are on a different keychain that I rarely ever carry with me and leave in car when out.

gorgeous. w2c cowboy key strap and phone case

The keychain is from Brooks Brothers.
The iPhone case is the brown leather one that Apple themselves sell.

So what's the deal. Do you guys carry some of this in a bag, or are you wearing WWII infantry cargo pants?

I always presume it's carried in a bag but only rarely do people post their bags

Not too hot on messenger bags, a little too /menswear/

Not him but if you're referring to pics like OP's, then I just carry my camera in hand and the rest in my pockets. Rarely do I ever carry a bag with me.

>cowboy
It's a jockey on a racehorse you dingus

>multitools/knives

i bet u fags rarely ever use them. you just want to feel cool like you're ready for any random situation that never occurs

(exception for knives if u live in a crime ridden area)

to shank rapists

Obviously I was referring to the Pentax. I know you're special with your rangefinder.

I carry my dirty plates downstairs to the kitchen and back

Kill me

lets do each other in famile
not pictured, some loose change and lint

Minus the SE I used to take the pic

>all these noguns

So when mr dindu decides he would like to take those possessions from you how exactly are you going to stop him

Don't hang around dindus.

with the current trends that might not last long

How good is the K1000? What kind of lens you got? I was thinking about getting a DSLR, but SLRs are really fucking cool, and I'm divided.

op here noice olympus man, can you post some photos you took?
I would say just a backpack. I have a jansport one because they come with a life time warrenty so if it ever breaks it gets repaired or replaced for free. Good investment for 100 dollars.
I am studying for a cert 3 in photography, so i use my camera daily for assignments and personal work.
I mostly use Ilford black and white 125 or 400, because im still learning. I love macro, car photography and taking photos of my friends. I have a few model friends who i have shot a few times. I have lots of photos of dogs too.
Having your car keys seperate is good because heavy keys eventually wear your ignition lock so much and it becomes easy to pick, or not work at all because they keys fall out.
desu i mostly use it to clean my nails, open stubborn packets but every now and then im glad i have it for other reasons. It once saved my retarded friend who doesnt carry tools in his car? had to tighten some hoses and fix the battery connection, couldnt be done without pliers.
Im australian. The only person i know that has been mugged is 5,2, english and im fairly sure he was lying. Just learn to throw a punch dude.
I wouldnt feel comfortable carrying a tool designed to kill someone every day, what a heavy burden. Imagine if you lost it, or someone used it against you.
K1000 is really good, has heaps of attachments for things like macro and wide angle shooting. theyre also cheap as balls and sturdy. Would highly recomend the Supersomething K1000, with a cool silver winding lever instead of the black winding lever I have.
i have a pentax smc 50 mm lens, with a marumi UV haze filter on it. Would reccomend a nuteral density filter as well, and maybe a cross screen if you like shooting at night.
I also have a TAMRON macro zoom lens.

>tool designed to kill someone
not him but that's a poor description of a firearm. It's function is simply to fire a projectile in a linear vector and even than the vast majority of weapons are in no way used or intended to be used for killing

if they are designed not designed to kill, then what are they for?

>being this autistic

Amerifat detected.

"ACTUALLY OFFICER i didnt "shoot" him i simply fired a projectile in a linear vector and it coincidentally hit and killed that man to no fault of my own. After all, weapons are in no way used or intended to be for killing"

literally used the word "weapon"
>in no way used or intended to be used for killing

They are designed to most effectively stop a threat

If you're in a life or death situation you want to neutralize the target as best as you can

I'd like to carry but I don't have enough for a g19

I use my wave quite a bit but mostly for the pliers and screwdriver

>op here noice olympus man, can you post some photos you took?

I've got a couple rolls being developed right now. Here's one from my test roll I used to test it. Was shot on fujicolor 200

You know that there would be much less life or death situations if the criminal didn't have a gun in the first place right?

In an ideal world where every criminal cannot get any weapon of any kind, sure

Some large man with a pipe could kill me easily and you surely cannot ban all metal pipe

I'd still like to be prepared to defend myself and escape the situation regardless of what weapon the criminal or criminals have

South west of england is good for growing chilli, im white as fuck

goat knife

THE OG JVC GUMY'S

They're the best

To protect.
To deter.

No matter what you do, there will always be evil in the world and asking such people nicely to stop isn't going to work.

Also self responsibility. Cops can't protect you. They genuinely want to, but they can't run like the Flash or fly like Superman. The only person 100% guaranteed to be there when you need help is yourself. Your actions define what happens in your life, and if it ends because you were too appalled to carry a "deadly weapon" to protect yourself then it's your fault. Conversely any criminal who gets himself killed trying to mug or stab someone did so by his own choice. They basically took the risk, and it didn't pay off so they killed themselves.

You're also forgetting that most defensive gun uses deter attacks without a shot being fired.

A gun is simply a tool that must be respected and used with great restraint as a last resort.

This is pretty much reality. However edgy it sounds. Cops can't unrape or unshoot you. Peaceful nonviolence in the face of an attacker or mugger has a chance of working but some criminals just like to kill.

>spoonfed NRA banter
it's 2016, you're a dinosaur
