I'm 22 and still use a backpack. Messenger bags are impractical as fuck and when you have a lot to carry around every day like me I'd prefer to look like a dork than have a sore shoulder and a bag swinging off my leg with every step.

fjallraven for the name, jansport for simplicity, and high-end designer bag. Backpacks that were designed for purpose rather than to look good - military, hiking, old vintage mailbags. Bespoke handmade bags that you'd find at some market. Occasionally Nike or Adidas, but not likely. Bags that aren't just the standard looking main compartment, front pocket, drink holder. Unless into techwear, those all black bags you get with lots of netting and elasticated cords are really ugly.

I like this Muji one, and it's really cheap. The only problem is that it might be too small, it's only 15L. You guys think that's too small for a university backpack?
