I go to one of the more expensive unis and i can tell you from firsthand experience most people would just be something in the sub 50-70 range and call it a day. Shit the smartest kids in my class just buy jansport or whatever generic backpack brand they can get

I have been using the same cheap backpack for the past 5 years of my life and it is still in good condition. If you think there is some significant difference in quality between a $200dollar backpack and a much cheaper one, you are wrong. I understand if you have a good amount of money and are only purchasing based off the design, but if you are an average college student (ie have to take out loans and work a low wage job) you should not be saving money from your low-wage part-time job to purchase a backpack.
