Consider that if the Germans said "oh well" and moved on when the Polish said no then they could have had way more supplies. Especially since Britain only got involved when Poland was invaded. Also this is the third time I've brought this up and you still havent addressed this: Why did the Germany sign the pact with the Soviets if they were their only target? I would say they signed it so they only had to deal with 1 front at a time. Which is why after taking over France and trying to subdue Britain and failing only then did they attack the Soviets. However, you say the main goal of the Germans was attacking the Soviets, not expanding Germany. So can you explain why you believe Hitler signed the pact? Most people nowadays cannot fathom the impact the attempted communist revolution in 1918, which was led by Jews, had on German-Jewish relations.

Before 1918, Germany was not an anti-semitic country. In fact, German (and Austro-Hungarian) Jews were the most assimilated, best treated Jews in Europe, they were so assimilated that they felt confortable to discriminate against the Russian "Ostjuden" as inferior.
