The cropped pants were a bad idea here. You need something more coherent, such as a heavily-stacking pair. You also need an actual texture, this fit will not work with smooth-fabric pants

Don't worry about it bro. Guys above gave good advice, just when it comes to losing weight or being more active, I found a social sport which I enjoyed to be paramount. Couldn't be bothered going to the gym personally, but loved soccer. Its now lead me to run consistently and use the gym equipment at the park, which I like because it is free and less crowded than the gym!

Try and find a friend to do it with, and always push through the pain barrier.
