It's not about what you wear or if it got any fancy names on it. It's about whether the effect is there or not. Whether you look good or not.

That's one cheap fit too, btw. Unlike which is all designer clothes whereas the effect is still pretty meh tier regardless.

Low rise pants make your torso look long.
Horizontal stripes make your torso look wide.
A crop top that hits at the widest part of your torso (unless you don't have much of a waist) will accentuate that part and make all of your torso look wide.

You can improve any (or a combination) of these things with high rise jeans, a non-striped top, a longer top or a tighter top.

In general, rips like yours look better on jeans that aren't so stretchy, but it looks like you did it yourself so I won't be so hard on you for that.
