Lots of free time to hang out with friends, life ahead of you, in an awkward stage of growing up with lots of feels, things are still new to you, not lots of adult responsibilites which are very uneffay.

It's mostly the 'still a kid but starting to get close to adulthood' that's really effay.

guess it depends on the country but here, in europe in most countries you normally start highschool at the age of 6-7 and and you end it at 17-18. some secondary schools have an extra year so its not unusual to end it at 19
