I don't have any favourite Roman Emperors, because I know jackshit about the Roman Empire other than how it fell over. My favourite statesman is probably Cicero.

French, Spanish

There are lots of people in this thread who like Greeks and Romanz and muh republic and Catholicism. Does Veeky Forums in general not like Asia or India? Or are we just eurocentric/romeboos because we're mostly anglo?

Enjoy your declining materialistic civilization you white cuck.

Pope Francis is his own person, and I gotta say he's a dumbass hippie, like most of you.

Proto-Romance was definitely a language. There are plenty of reference in the medieval period to the "rustica lingua romana," which was not quite Italian or Spanish or French, but was explicitly distinct from Latin, vulgar or otherwise.

>Cicero

Cicero I dislike because he is often cited by Stormfront types in their "Nasty Things Said about Jews by Famous People" list.

For that, I do appreciate his assassination.

We're talking about favourites and OP only gave us two languages and one religion. Four civilizations, while not a small number, is not a lot either and I struggled to decide who got the 4th and who didn't.

I'm intereted in both China and India, but everything I know about them I had to learn it by myself from zero, so it's not much. They can't be my favourites.
