>zara

how are they still getting away with it

These are glorious tbqh

might cop some zara shit tbqh

can't justify CP prices in a meme colour but blue would be nice for some fits

...

cunts like you shouldn't be allowed to post on here

that's nice

when it comes to shoes they really don't give a fuck anymore. it looks like they order fakes from china and resell them. SS17 they will probably sell yeezys

I was just about to make this exact thread

kys

...

what's the shoe being copied here?

Acne velcros, I forget the exact name

>german roshe runners

acne triple lo

adidas rafs imo

Why doesn't adidas sue them? I know Zara is a colossus but adidas is also pretty big

i think with clothing this is allowed. they dont put their logo on and they dont copy 1:1.

shameless

kek

Great legal team.

What the fuck, it looks like Rick Owens Runners

Adidas would need a design patent to prevent fakes from being created. It's not likely that the get one for each and every piece of clothing they make. Secondly, its notoriously hard to get a design patent for clothing.

w2c? not bad at all

They're on zara's site under men's shoes. I don't think there's any shame in buying a shoe that is $400 cheaper

Don't even need that, Cant patent a shoe. Maybe something very specific like a kevlar lacing system on hiking boots or something. Look at how many shoes are blatant Converse/Vans copies.

it will never stop

this is the episode where SLP tricks Zara into making something really stupid

At least 95% of population doesn't realise what piece of clothing is being copied here. If the brands made a fuss about it, it would be more likely that people would buy it just because it's a copy expensive designer clothing. Zara can't promote it as stolen designer patterns as well obviously, so nobody does anything.

People look and think - hey, it's a nice shoe - and buy it, nobody thinks that they are getting a knock off, hell, even I couldn't tell what some pieces copy. Maybe there is not a single design that Zara designers came up with completely by themselves, who knows.

>you study fashion to end up rip off pieces for Zara or Bershka

Which shoe is being copied here? They sorta look like Buscemis without the one thing that would really make them Buscemis: the loop on the back

From off-withe+black color combination I would guess Dick Owen.

>better than original
Top kek

serious question: how can they get away with this?

So I heard you like ann d :^]

This is hilarious based zara don't give a fuck

Those are absolutely nothing like ann d

It's a theft only when they copy it 1:1 or put brand on it. Since both of it isn't there it doesn't qualify as rip-off. You can't really potent EVERY model of the shoe and it's really ahrd anyway, so they keep doing it. 90% of buyers don't even know what Zara rip off, company just do it to look "fashionable" since they sell all the stuff that's in this season like and

I bought some af1 clones from Pull&bear and they are actually pretty nice

K

They do look great, the quality is probably terrible though.

They do look great only in pictures.
I have a feeling every mall-brand produces one item of each that is higher in quality just for the pictures.

More like a weird KVA x Ann D hybrid.

This. They are full plastic shoes btw

>it has straps so it's ann d
fuck the fully strapped sneakers aren't even prominent part of Ann Ds designs, literally that one sneaker she did. None of the details or even the silhouette is similar, it's literally just velcro straps, might as well have posted any velcro hi top
If anything it's obvious Nike Vandal/Raf rip-off, sole is taken straight from vandals and the model is similar in height to those, not as exaggerated as Ann Ds

Fucking kek

I thought it was a Fear Of God ripoff

What are these based on? Should I cop?

this is urban outfitters but still

>zara
>literally killing sweatshop workers
>people actually support this shit and look even shitter in it

Tom Ford hightops

this made me cringe

most zara products are manufactured in europe senpai

how can you be this much in denial?
have you ever read the tags on any of their shit?

only the low-cost basics are produced in asia, anything more fashionable is produced in spain/portugal/turkey as far as I know

there's plenty of articles about their business model out there.. educate yourself famalam

Wtf they look like gats with a tech runner sole

And victims buy the slp one

>Yoshi city nights 2002
Stupid thing to put on a shirt but sounds like the comfiest thing ever

It's a reference to one of Yung Lean's songs. I heard they took it down when confronted about it.

Just how awful are they compared to say $20 UNIQLO canvas sneakers?

I got a pair when they were half price and wear them almost daily as a beater. They have survived remarkably well.

Would I get similar mileage out of these Zara shoes?

Very bad. UQ's shoes are good because they are very simple in both design and fabrics. Zara wants to copy higher end fashion shoes with a special design to them which alone require higher end fabrics. So they are shit because Zara only wants to replicate the look, not the quality.

there's no special design/fabric requirements to some of their stuff, even if it is copying higher end pieces

like pic related &

Good leather would be a first and expensive good requirement. I don't wear Acnes and CPs but leather they use is pretty good. Zara's look like fucking plastic shoes (and they probablyare).

nah it's leather

obviously not good leather for 30 euro though

Would you wear cheap leather jacket? Obviously not. So why should you wear really cheap mall-tier leather shoes.

The way leather ages on CPs makes themlook better with age and really easy to clean

The way leather ages on cheap shoes (or hell even some £140 Nikes that I bought when I had no taste) makes them look horrifically bad and it stains permanently.

> bought a bunch of Zara shit at a sale before I started browsing Veeky Forums
> now I look into my closet and see wasted money

Materials and fabric can come from Bangladesh and finished in Europe for all they care and it still qualifies for the tag.

can confirm that CPs age beautifully but the leather is prone to scratches, but on the other hand, scratches and scuffs give the shoe some caracter.

I'm suprised that the white pair picture has sewn on sole, but the blue one doesn't and that's the majority. The sole will start to disconnect from the leather, probably after first few wears, and look terrible. Then, there is the leather itself. It's a cheap, disgusting leather that was thinly painted, and will look like vomit once the paint begins to crack, likely at the bending point.

Invest in your shoes. Those will be unwearable after a year due to their rather clean look that you won't be able to maintain. I have Achilles Lows that I bought 6 years ago, don't care about them that much anymore, but when given a nice cleaning, they look completely fresh. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some cocky fag, but Zara and alike brands CAN'T put out a good shoe. I've got New Balances, probably 3 years old, and they are holding perfectly well, sole is glued on extremely well, and the leather is fine even after a lot of abuse, and note that it's suede.

Tech runners with uppers that look like german army trainers

I've never had a problem with their shirts, but I will NEVER buy shoes from them again.

I had 2 bad experiences with them -- mainly cutting my heels -- and don't trust them.

Mastodon Sneakers imo

No, it should be people like you that get worked up over the most banal shit.

>looks over at my Zara shoes in shame
:(

Holy fuck they look so cheap. Reminds me of $12 "knits" I copped at walmart a couple years ago when I was a poorfag at Uni.

The hyperdunks are good at least

people itt will unironically defend this
>i-i-its not that b-bad guys
>good for the price amirite

these actually look nice

I know that they're ro rip offs but they're still clean
