Thanks senpai. I've reached my goal so just gotta hang on. Really a few tough days isn't so bad though, and then after New Years /everyone/ is on a diet so really easy to eat healthy and stay on target.

Just remember to tell grandma that's she's fucking obese when she asks why you're only eating vegetables and turkey at the family thanksgiving table!

The turkey is always dry and food is always cold at my Thanksgiving dinner. I'll have some dry turkey and green beans, pretty easy to skip the rest. Desert will probably be store bought and nothing special. I got this on easy mode.

I know this is unhealthy, but I'm just curious: what's the longest you've gone without eating?

Get yourself some kim chi or cortido to put on that dry ass turkey and see if you can get some steamed asparagus and broccoli for a little more greens variety. a little cayenne powder or wasabi powder can make eating them a little more interesting!

I'm alone so Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are just another day for me. I guess that's a good thing with respect to my diet.

i lost some weight because i have started to feel fat, after 8 cm loss in waist i noticed some difference and felt pretty for a few days

then my cousin showed me my photo before weight loss and i was so fucking fat i'm at loss of words. and now, when i look in mirror, i just know that even after 6 kg loss (for me that's a lot, since i can't stop eating trash) i don't look nice, but AVERAGE, optimistically speaking.

i can't even imagine how hard it is for obese people to get thinner. 6 kgs feels for me like no step towards the goal at all, and these people can lose 20 or 30 kg and still look the same

It really depends on genetics and maybe how fast you lose the weight.

Anyone raw vegan/fruitarian here? It seems pretty suitable for /thinspo/, really hard to eat over your calorie limit, keeps you hidhratted, no cravings because you get more than enough sugar and plenty of vitamins.

Not really. I can see a bit when I get on all fours, but standing I'm tight. Perhaps a bit of lucky genetics mixed with losing weight slowly.

Eating only fruit is a good way to get health problems.

Not that user, but /thinspo/ for sure goes in cycles and my guess is once exams are done (this is crunch time in a lot of universities) and people are on break traffic will pick up. And of course after the New Year we'll get a big boost with people who have new motivation and resolutions.

I've lost over 5kgs already but I can't notice any change in my figure, is this normal?

Do you take measurements or are you just going off what you look like? I find it's hard to tell just by looking at yourself that you've lost, especially if you're going at a good pace.

If you're early into a crash diet on the other hand it's probably just a lot of water weight that you've lost with a little fat

Probably just water and a little fat. Depends on how overweight you are, losing 10kg usually shows quite a bit on someone who isn't pretty overweight but if you are big than it may not show until you've lost more. Can't really judge unless we know height/weight.

I've had some trouble finding clothes myself, I did get some jeans recently that fit in Urban Outfitters though which was REALLY good and surprising (they labelled them 24-25inch waist but they fit me perfect at 21in), plus oversized stuff looks cute and sometimes kids sections aren't so bad for basics.

Just going by what I look like in the mirror, I work in an outdoors job so I have to drink plenty of water a day so is it still possible to lose 5kg in water weight.

'Fashion for thin people' is not really what 'thinspo' is but there are always some fashion photos in the thread.

There is good support here for people struggling with their weight who aren't naturally thin but I haven't seen anyone encouraging anyone else to be unhealthily underweight.

My own goal is to achieve and maintain a minimum but healthy weight. This thread encourages and helps me.

At that height and weight it won't show as much at first. I'd do what suggested and start measuring as well as weighing daily and taking your weekly average.
Congrats on the success, regardless of what you see so far, it is progress and you know to stay hydrated.
Most people do lose water weight at the start of a diet but the scale doesn't lie so just keep up the good work and you'll start seeing the results soon!

I'm 5'1" and my goal weight is around 90-88lbs. I'm currently 93lbs and last time I measured my waist it was 22 inches but it'll probably get smaller.
I guess it's only really important that jeans, skirts and some dresses fit properly, I don't really mind when other things are oversized. I'm probably quite lucky that kids clothes might not look too bad height-wise.

Im doing IF, and I drink at least 3l green tea before my first meal every day and its working out. You end up pissing a lot sure, but it beats coffee diarrhea (im not the only one who gets that right?)

I guess you could heat the water in a microwave if you had to. But if I were you I would buy a pic related, and then bring some boiled water and a few teabags from home.

Yes, just heat the water to boiling (or just off boiling depending on the teatype), then steep your tea. Just don't stick tea leaves/powder or tea bag in cold water, then heat. But I'd make a thermos full of pre-made tea every morning and bring that instead. Much handier.

Cut until you are very lean and low body fat % (if you haven't already) to get a true picture. If needed, join the gym and build your upper body into a V shape, enough to off-set your wider hips. I know it's not the ideal slim Veeky Forums aesthetic but you can give the illusion of a slimmer lower body width that way.
