the problems with Timbs is they aren't good boots. anybody who likes boots knows they suck and the only people who wear them outside of that are the above mentioned people. they don't look good and are way overpriced for the quality.

What would you recommend instead my dude?

well you're not white. the reason why that even matters is because minorities can dress certain ways without having to worry about coming across as fake. a white dude wearing Timbs looks like a white dude ripping off rap culture. a Mexican wearing Timbs looks like a Mexican. hopefully that's not offensive to you, but whatever.

Just get real, actual, functional boots. There are a lot of good looking work boots that will last you for years and also serve a practical function. They cost more money but once you see how fast Timbs get worn out you'll understand why it's better to spend more for boots that could easily last a decade.

my personal rec would be Red Wings because they're known for great quality, and are particularly good looking for what they are. Look at their Heritage collection.

also regardless of the boot you ultimately end up buying, I would recommend getting your first pair in black. many jobs require all black shoes so it makes buying an expensive pair of boots even more practical.

since you already have black boots, if i were you i'd get them in wheat, then get redwings or something for dark brown boots
