I'm not OP but my wisdom teeth fucked my teeth for one month so I had to get braces when I was 18.

Happened to me aswell. I got a weird underbite caused by my teeth being pushed forward by my wisdom teeth in my late teens rather than an overgrown mandible. Going to get braces in january.

As for braces being Veeky Forums or not? Na, they're not really effay. But they're not the antithesis of it either. They're a necessity to improving yourself and only fucking idiots would think negatively of you for having them.

Some braces tips:
1. It will hurt.
2. Brush your teeth
3. Do whatever the orthodontist tells you to do, he knows whats good for you
4. After theyre out, WEAR YOUR FUCKING RETAINER. I repear, wear your retainer. Everything will be back to the way it was in a few years if you dont and im speaking from experience here

They're not Veeky Forums but like said, no one is really going to judge you for it. P much everyone had them at some point and anyone who isn't literally autistic is going to know that it is what it is, a temporary thing for a permanent improvement.

Depending on your case you can get them on the back of your teeth, noone will know you have them. But either way its better to get them anyways. Otherwise you'll wish you did later on in life.

Not really effay, but having straight teeth is effay and will improve whatever clothes you wear by 100%.

I was a bit embarrassed to get them on but no-one really noticed or if they did, they didn't say anything. People don't really care.
