of course it is not for streetwear, but other than hoodies, ultra boosts, and track pants there are very few items that are mutually exclusive with such a beret, especially a smaller, tidier one in nondescript black

as a rule of thumb, if a scarf of any kind is not out of place, neither is a beret, full stop

for someone like OP, who most likely wears a dark mainstream jacket it could be a great piece piece that takes just a bit of confidence to pull off initially, but over time will lead to much better things in the closet and in the mirror

If he had come with a good example of another shoe that I could replace it with I would consider it for the next time I need new shoes. If he didn't respond or replied with moon boots or some shit I would just discard his opinion, plus it also bumps the thread.

They ruined those, you should NOT, I repeat NOT EVER wear a baseball cap, if you're not at a fucking baseball game. Same with bucket hats. Going fishing? Nah it's cool. Going downtown? You look like a dipshit.

Now, the thing with fedoras... don't ever wear a fucking trilby, it's a women's hat, you can wear a fedora if it's made of wool and is good quality, if it's a polyester/cotton trilby from walmart, you WILL look like a retard. Also you should be wearing at least a nice suit to pull it off or a suit and overcoat

A key rule is to wear the hat for the occasion, straw boater for the summer, beanies, toques berets for fall/winter, pork pie if you're in a ska/jazz band...etc

and take the fucking thing off when you go inside or you will look like a total dipshit

also, don't wear it square on your head, tilt it a tiny bit and if it's pliable, curve it or style it a little

and I think feathers in your hat are for fags, but that's just my opinion
