How do I start making my own patches (inb4 pastebin) but just for me? I don't want to start selling them, so I'm looking for making like 1 of 2 of each, would manufacturers be ok with that?

Etsy. Find custom patch makers, request quote. Usually you can get patches for 7 to 15 dollars each depending on complexity.

Most patches are machine washable, so if they're sewed on or sewed and ironed, you can throw it right in the washing machine. If it's only ironed, you can probably get away with it but I wouldn't do it regularly

Hey! Dunno if you saw but I just got my "pay attention" patch , thanks so much it looks great.

One small suggestion is to have the option to get the velcro without adhesive on it, it's been a pain to sew the velcro onto denim without a machine.

I am getting a USA patch sewn onto my green Bomber Jacket. Is there a certain etiquette on which sleeve to put a patch on? Would putting the patch on my upper left sleeve be disrespectful to a military official in any way?

I'm glad you got it! Yeah the loop side of the velcro is pretty inconvenient, I only include it because the big roll of velcro I have comes with both sides. Maybe I should start offering better velcro strips on my site
