Wardrobe builder

let's do this because its fun Veeky Forums
you get $2000 usd to build your own wardrobe from scratch, so how would you spend it?

ill start
-reigning champ heather grey hoodie $130
-cotton tees in white, heather grey, charcoal, 3 assorted earth tones $250
-uniqlo calf socks, two of each colour (navy blue, black, grey, dark grey, mustard, beige, white) $50
-two pairs of second hand navy + black lemaire pants $500 (hopefully)
-black mmm gats $300
-second hand derbies from somewhere $200
-2 assorted colour sneakers $150
-cotton perfecto jacket $200
-white dress shirt $150
damn $2000 isnt that much theres still alot of shit i want to buy

$2000 is not that much.
Since I work, then I would probably spend it on at least 2 suits, and a nice pair of oxfords.
I would definitely skimp on the shirts and ties. I don't think I would have much left over after that.

w2c poncho?

Please it's very important, I'm asking for a friend!!

ya in hindsight $2000 was pretty low
article F, use the google translate app on your phone

Damn I'm fucking retarded, I thought you were saying that "Article F" was the brand and spent all this time trying to find it on google and google.jp.

I already tried to read F though, I can read the katakana but not the kanji, and can't figure out how to make my phone read a picture

its part of the google translate app, you take a photo of the kanji and then it automatically translates it

Bunch of h&m

for $2000 a lot of these seem unrealistic. unless you work a casual job or have a creative sector career, you can't really do the whole capsule wardrobe thing. if you honestly had to rebuild a complete wardrobe--meaning workwear, casualwear, and formalwear (in addition to furnishings, accessories, and weather gear)--you would have to be frugal wherever possible.

work attire:

$40 two pairs of walmart khakis (they're indestructible)
$40 two uniqlo OCBD in light blue
$40 two uniqlo OCBD in white
$20 uniqlo brown leather belt
$40 three uniqlo knit ties (navy, charcoal, mustard)
$150 uniqlo navy wool blazer
$150 brown allen edmonds (preferably laceups) on sale at nordstrom rack or something

casual:

$90 black april77 joey jeans on sale
$40 levi's 501 stretch-to-fit in raw indigo
$30 some no-name loosewave cropped black chinos from the sale section at UO or something
$26 two three-packs of black crewneck uniqlo supima cotton t-shirts
$50 fred perry polo in navy with red and white detailing
$70 oversized garment-dyed dark grey allsaints pullover hoodie on sale
$50 generic wool mockneck sweater in black
$70 levi's made & crafted trucker jacket on sale
$20 black leather uniqlo belt
$300 black leather story et fall harness boots
$100 tan nike mayflys

formal:

$300 best fitting off-the-rack suit in black wool i can find on sale
$20 white h&m dress shirt
$5 cheap bowtie
$150 black leather court pumps on sale at some nordstrom rack

weather gear:

$100 some waterproof poncho

miscellaneous:

$99 socks and underwear

i think that's $2000. don't feel like double-checking

using really rough mental math that should be 1900
yeah maybe just $2000 for one single style/occasion then

something like this, made out of $2000 ?

40 assorted bowties
