Which one?

Fairfield or chrono depending on which one you like the most. If the chrono isn't necessary i wouldn't go for it because cheap chronos are usually garbage

...

man orient makes such nice stuff. I might get something similar next year

better pic from May

Right

Opinions on skeleton/open heart watches?

Nearly always look tacky

Depends on overall design but most of these that i've seen were bad.

...

Considering a Raketa Big zero.
Have my eye on a couple of offers online.

Anyone get the Filippo Loreti watches the last time round on their Kickstarter?

Was looking to cop their new range but not sure if I can trust Lithuanians posing under an Italian company.

I own both the left (in a different color) and the right and I'm telling you, go with the left. It's a really nice watch for the price. The right one has too many little annoyances like the minute hand not moving for ~30 seconds after you set the time

The weekender's ticking was a big deal for me aswell, you could hear it across the fucking room.

i like the bambino watches from orient aswell, but are automatics watches worth it?
i mean quartz dont lose seconds every year etc

What's your opinion on this legend?

based on the comments, the few who got them got quartz, and half of those were defective

I'm getting this soon

hipster watch

that's actually pretty cool

It's an $1,100 Seiko. Would you spend that much, even if it's a limited edition?

cheap minimalist watch recommendations for a newcomer? Never used watches, wanna try it out, but can`t afford something expensive and most styles don`t fit me well.

wow, you don't even own a single watch and you've already hit rock bottom

>smooth crown

Who /smallwrist/ here?

40-42mm watches take over my whole entire wrist span.

I need an everyday watch that I can use at work (I'm a teacher, semi casual fits only).

the Orient looks really cool to me, thanks so much man

i like

dogshit

what is this?

Hello bros,
I am a sales rep at a high end AD for a variety of watches. AMA.

What size is that? I've been looking at 49mm watches online. My wrist is 6.5" diameter and 2" at best, across.

36 mm are too girly imo. I need at 38 at minimum

I tried this on at a store and it was pulling at my hairs for the 30 seconds I had it on. Also didn't like the feel.
Cop or not?

This ain't reddit , fuck off

Opinions on this watch? Been thinking about buying one.

Can you find a nicer watch.
Protip: you might

Depends, automatic watches are associated with good taste and high quality also collectioners prefer them over quartz movement but there're much more expensive. You can find a really nice looking quartz watch for a half of the price of automatic one and most of the people will not even see a difference betwen them.

super sick OG Seiko and an orange face?

oh yes.

You have the ideal wrist size for watches.

The iconic watch must-haves are all in the 34mm-41mm range.

I have huge wrists, and can only really rock 40mm-42mm (I'm starting to dislike larger watches).

you should see how much some Grand Seikos cost, and some Seiko Credors.

hey guys,

looking for a watch for my 21st, must be automatic and preferably swiss.

have about $2500 USD to spend, maybe a little more.

spent the night looking at Montblanc, Longines, Frederique Constant, a few of them are nice but I was wondering if Veeky Forums had any suggestions?

what makes that watch a hipster piece?

Found this on the street, I like it

As an user said in a previous thread:
If you wear one, you are either a virgin or want 72 virgins.

so Veeky Forums as fuck then?

how much do you jew clients

Out of every penny. It shocks me that people are willing to pay full retail on quartz watches, or any timepiece really.

what do you do when they ask for non-gentile prices

Sure, I guess
I want that exact one, with the metal band. Looks way better than the plastic

>order watch I really like
>wait for delivery for 2 weeks
>get email today that they dont have it in stock and will return my money
I feel like shit now I couldn't wait to pick it up and now nothing
Any good websites with free worldwide/europe delivery?

feels bad man

ye I feel like shit but now atleast I learned more about watches while waiting for it and can buy a better watch
thinking of picking up pic related for like 20 bucks more and putting a nato/canvas strap on it

man this is my fucking cat

>YEAR TWOTHOUSAND TWENTY.
>WEARING WATCHES.

re-issue when?

pic related
this is my motherfucking cat lmao

this just arrived. opinions?

boring

Love it.

The shit on your face is still wet. It is your mask.

Never probably

wot?

There's always flex room. Most people are happy with even a small discount because they feel like they got a good deal. I think I've only given more than 10% off one time because the customer was a collector and he knew what was up.

Is movado a good watch brand

Front

Back

bought this the other day

shyte. sorry mate

I will never buy an Orient watch again, stupid movement stopped winding after 11 months. Luckily amazon warranty is giving me a cheque for the cost of the watch. I should just buy a vintage omega instead.

was it a flight?

Ideal wrist size? Most look like this on me

My 1952 Tissot Bumper Automatic

The Movement

My 1960 Soviet Military Issue - Vostok "Komandirskie", hand wind.

The Movement

My Longines 19A, Automatic
Pictured with a Thorens Auto lighter (the first single automatic lighter, ca. 1920) and swiss 1/2 franc cufflinks.

what is this model user?
i want one

What type of watch are you into? (Dress, field, pilot, diver, chronometer, pocket.)

Do prefer stainless/white gold/platinum or yellow gold?

Do you require a round dial, or are you open to square/rectangular dials?

Do you want a bracelet? (Even if it's not your primary band, if you think you'll use it, get it.)

How big is your wrist?

Are you OK with buying used?

Try a 36mm watch

Haters gonna hate

haters gonna hate dat visodate

A stylish watch and nice bang per buck

>tisshit

...

Got this today

Is this meant to be styled after a vintage racing wheel? Either way, it's pretty cool looking.

shit shit meme

welcome to club try2hard.
where we get all of our inspo from GQ!

>Found this interesting Casio on Shopgoodwill
>It's tiny as fuck
Any other watches with a grid pattern? I know Nendo made the Draftsman, but those are impossible to find.

How big of a meme are the cheap automatics
I am thinking of buying either a Orient Flight or something like pic related because I feel the orient would be too small for my big wrist but it seems that the cheaper automatics will loose or gain time a lot
What about the solar powered citizens are they good?

Sorry to hear that you have oily sausage fingers

do you ever give better deals than something online?

can leather straps handle a lot of water?
