I think I'm going to need to lie down. This is making me feel very uneasy.

It's unfortunate that videos like these pray on sexually insecure males sending them down a rabbit hole of ideology. Not to say that there weren't some good points to be made but for the most part these videos are garbage.

REAL

SHIT

>Insecure

This is a shaming tactic.

Porn is evil. I haven't watched porn in over 2 years. I know good, smart, caring guys that have been PERMANENTLY altered by pornography.

One of them just had to end things with his fiance because he is so fucked up sexually

another writes gay stories about himself and other men despite being in a straight relationship, he also has porn induced ED since age 17 and can only get off to odd or violent porn

these are guys who watched porn for 2-5 hours a day during the formative years of their lives. like age 11 onward. it's definitely on the extreme end of the spectrum, but I don't buy for a single second that porn is "okay in moderation" because even in moderation porn is extremely addicting

I quit porn because, even though I would only average 5-10 minutes of porn a day, it affected my sleep and mood when I didn't watch porn - i've experienced various drug withdraws and I can say porn withdraws are worse.

one time after managing to quit porn for about a month, i watched a really good porn video and masturbated and i got the shakes, my teeth were chattering, i couldnt control my eye movement, and my body felt as good as the peak of an MDMA experience for about 15 minutes with diminishing effects that lasted another 45 minutes.

in my opinion porn is more damaging and more addictive than most pharmaceutical opiates which are some of the most addictive and widely used drugs on planet earth

i honestly dont know a single dude who isnt a porn addict besides myself. everyone plays the "just in moderation bro" but I've tried moderation, it doesn't work. Nobody I know who says they use porn in moderation can go 3 days without porn.

my life got about 150% better after i quit porn. i dont need to watch porn and jack off before falling asleep. i feel better in general. i actually want to talk to girls. i dont have weird fetishes that make me feel disgusted and depressed.

try it. even if you think porn isnt a problem for you.

I mean, I get what you're saying about most people not being able to go 3 days, but sometimes i go for like a week if im preoccupied with other things and dont even think about it
but I dont think i could force myself to stop altogether bc of random urges every so often
Don't notice a difference in my behavior either during off periods either

>one time after managing to quit porn for about a month, i watched a really good porn video and masturbated and i got the shakes, my teeth were chattering, i couldnt control my eye movement, and my body felt as good as the peak of an MDMA experience for about 15 minutes with diminishing effects that lasted another 45 minutes.
I almost believed your post up until this point. What a load of absolute shit.

>I almost believed your post up until this point. What a load of absolute shit.

Why don't you believe it? Just curious. You do know watching porn involves receptors that are similar to our brain's opiate receptors right?

>tfw u eat the booty while wearing a 3k leather jacket

fash

fashbois ww@

I've been watching porn since 11. Gotta agree.

>spinding all your savings on a jacket and making some rich dude even richer
wew lad

>porn more addictive than opiates

You've obviously never been addicted to opiates. Everyone's different obviously, but saying porn is more addictive than opiates is flatout silly and uninformed.

I am a rich dude already and I have nothing but respect for other, even richer, dudes.

>You've obviously never been addicted to opiates. Everyone's different obviously, but saying porn is more addictive than opiates is flatout silly and uninformed.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3050060/

read up nigga. National Center for Biotechnology Information.

Opioid receptors are similar to receptors in our brain which reward us for doing actions necessary for life such as eating and having sex.

Porn addiction is an addiction based off of the very core reward centers in the brain that are necessary for life itself. The reason opiates are so addictive is because they mimic these reward mechanisms.

Of course, refined opioids can deliver a much higher amount of chemicals across a much longer time than is natural (hardcore porn is not natural either). However, the effects are the same.

Whatever you say bruh lmao

It's a fact. read the fuckin paper.

Opiates mimic the reward receptors in the brain necessary for survival and reproduction.

I guarantee if you watch hardcore porn for 2-3 hours a day you'll be just as addicted to it as you would be to percocet - taking one a day. Same with refined sugar and over-eating.

The study specifically cites opioid addictions in relation to these fundamental addictions to survival behavior.

Define porn. A good olde pacing around xvideos is cool, but I can do my chores with Instagram whores most of the times

>Opioid receptors are similar to receptors in our brain which reward us for doing actions necessary for life such as eating and having sex.
This isn't true. Sexual reward functions via release of dopamine, which in turn binds to the dopamine receptors D1 and D2.

"Opiates" are endogenous ligands for the mu-opioid receptor (MOR).

The common misconception that MOR is involved in orgasm seems to have entered public discourse after trainspotting where Renton compares heroin to an orgasm x1000.

>Porn addiction is an addiction based off of the very core reward centers in the brain that are necessary for life itself. The reason opiates are so addictive is because they mimic these reward mechanisms.
again this isn't true.

finally, you haven't actually addressed how Porn is "more" addictive than opiates

but whatever dude

It isn't just look at the comments. These videos are obviously appealing towards the ">tfw no gf" crowd. No surprise that /pol/ and /r9k/ have virtually the same userbass.

I personally used to masturbate once a day for the last six months. When I realized it was affecting my health I stopped. The first two days were rough but after that I never felt the need to jackoff, nothing on par with a serious addiction. I still do it now but only when I feel like it and when I do I try to keep a three day grab in between.

>real men
>eating ass

He ate a lot of ass and dicks before the fame

The part with Mr Rogers made me cry.

I'm not gonna lie when I say that sometimes I'm afraid of raising a child in today's society, and even more afraid that I'm powerless to change it.

t. concerned grandma

I can't imagine what kind of person buy a shit like this, I know insecure people wear messages in their shirts but this crap is a new level, Ass eater and proud, good for you loser

There is nothing wrong with porn.

People will put the blame on anything to justify why they're losers.

in the sense that "there's nothing wrong with the fact that videos of consenting adults having sex exist" i don't think most people would disagree with you (except for idk hardcore moralists or something)

but if you don't think that the wide and instant availability of porn is having an effect on people's sexuality, i'd say you're totally delusional.

i've never known sexuality without porn--that is to say, i never got the chance to try to understand my sexuality "naturally"--by the time i'd had any sex at all i'd already been about five or six years deep into porn.

hell i'd seen porn before i even masturbated.

do you see what i'm saying? my very first encounters with sexuality, and i'm willing to bet this is the same for most people nowadays, were in the form of these hyper idealized, hyper normative depictions. you don't think that's going to have an effect on someone's consciousness or on their conception of and relationship to sex?

think about it like this: you never had the chance to follow your own natural urges when you started having sex, because a certain type of scripted sexuality had already been modeled for you countless times, and you were just slipping into the role that you were "supposed" to.

i think a lot of our sexual preferences and behaviors would be different and healthier if porn was not so readily accessible. i'm not necessarily anti-porn. i think it's fine that porn exists, but i also think that we're letting it alter our sociosexuality in long-term ways that we aren't examining in favor of the instant gratification of porn--which is unhealthy and addictive behavior.

if you want to watch porn, watch porn. i watch porn sometimes. i'm not advocating that porn is banned or anything like that. but i think we need to stop using it on autopilot. you need to think about what's genuinely coming from you and your desires and what has merely been scripted and modeled for you.

yes but terribly lewd shirt in awful taste

What is it

The thing is that porn is not marketed to young children, porn is marketed to people who are over 18.(Who in theory would have already experienced some level of sexual exploration)
So for you, would the solution be getting porn out of the hands of children?
I agree with you wholeheartedly but I wanted to make that point.

retarded post

yeah, just like family goy is for "mature audiences"

What are you trying to say?

>All your savings
Nice one needed a good laugh

>Tfw started with women, then trans and can now only get off to post op trans women

This is the only reasonable post in this thread.

Are the videos not also shaming tactics?

Wut. Did you mean pre-op or do you like ftm?

Cause if you meant what you said you may as well just like women again.
