C'est vrai. Mais relativement, il y a plus de personnes qui ont un certain sens du bon goût à Paris ou dans son agglomération qu'en Province ou autres.

Mais tu as raison nous avons un peu tous perdu notre sens du style et être bien habillé c'est presque devenu un luxe, surtout en terme d'efforts. Je m'étonne à voir des français qui avouent que la France est passée de mode. Je l'ai toujours remarqué - non seulement en ce qui concerne le goût vestimentaire mais musical aussi - mais je n'en parlais pas par peur d'insulter des gens. Je pensais à la possibilité de simplement ne pas connaître des gens de bon goût mais maintenant je vois que j'avais raison..

Il existe toujours des gens de bon goût, mais le fait est qu'ils se font tellement rares qu'ils finissent soit noyés dans l'immondité esthétique de la foule, soit regroupés autour de certains centres d'intérêts et donc dans certains lieux (par exemple dans des expositions d'art ou bien des coins assez décalés des lieux de grande fréquentation). En tout cas en cherchant là où il faut on trouve quelques personnes intéréssantes.

J'ai tellement l'impression que la France est à l'aise dans la médiocrité, dans le banal, surtout dans ces domaines. Ils ne cherchent pas à aller plus loin et je trouve flagrant que la routine et la résignation, en restant dans sa zone de confort, sont bien plus présents ici que dans d'autres pays mondialisés. Après ce n'est peut-être qu'une impression.

Je pense que tu as raison. C'est peut-être à cause du fait que la France résiste à la mondialisation culturelle plus que la plupart d'autres pays de l'Europe occidentale. Il y a une fierté très fort dans votre langue et culture qui fait qu'on n'en veut rien à voir avec des influences extérieures. D'ailleurd ça pourrait expliquer la tendance vers la xénophobie qui se montre dernièrement avec la popularité du FN..

I would advice OP to start from Spanish, just because the basics are fairly simple and it's a very useful language if you travel. From that you'll easily learn Italian, but leave French last because it's the hardests out of the three. You will notice that once you handle one latin language learning the others is considerably easier. Good luck!
