This is really great advice, better than the usual advice posted on these threads.

Make a folder for inspo and if you are up to it (assuming you don't pass or whatever) go to stores that sell stuff you like and try it on to see how it actually looks. Take photos. It also doesn't hurt to buy stuff a size up too, at least for tops.

It's really up to you what you do. Female Veeky Forums is mainly just asains in tennis skirts so it's not really possible for anyone who doesn't have a tiny frame.

Personally I go for a cozycore type thing, large sweaters, turtlenecks, wool cardigans, layers. For bottoms, jeans that aren't super tight. I mostly wear comfy trousers, I really like wool ones. Don't wear just leggings or yoga pants. Skirts can be good but don't wear anything that's like super short or too highschool like. Also avoid bodycon unless you have good hips.
