Been wanting some good generic biker or military-style boots to wear with black jeans and occasionally also a leather jacket. Found these by Hudson which I didn't mind, however wanted Veeky Forums's opinion before pulling the trigger.

There's also a nubuck option, although I felt that was a bad idea for a first pair of boots. I want to build my basics out first.

I would say that these are a little more popular than what you say, I've had mall core kids compliment me on my ash pink pair. Considering that regular stans are already 75-90 and these are only $50 more, I dont feel like its that bad. Plus I can always sell these on ebay down the line, which I cant do with regular stans.
