>can't stop touching my face
help

Bump

Not sure if there is help with that.
I don't touch my face and I mew whenever I remember about it.
I'm like a month into taking my shit together and right now I remember about both of those things 70% of the time.

Take it easy, no need to rush.

This might sound really stupid, but do you wear makeup? I had a lot of trouble with touching my face, but after I started wearing light makeup (bb cream, blush, maybe some powder) it made me more conscious about it because I didn't want to ruin it. I ended up being better about cleaning my skin too, because going to bed with makeup still on is disgusting

>be me
>never heard of serum
>see it in mall
>try it out
>apply in the evening before night cream
>next day
>visibly smaller pores, more even skin tone, acne reduced and less visible
Why the fuck is no one talking about this? I haven't even seen it in the sticky.

don't know about the product you posted but i switched my routine entirely to asian products such as snail serums and shit like that and my skin ist like 500% better. i really don't know why this shit isn't more popular. I literally fixed my skin entirely only by changing to asian products since i found western shit to be way too bloated with meme ingredients that do more harm than good.

name? where did you purchase from

this: please let us know your routine/products

well a bit of back story just so you know that it might not help you specifically: my main issue was that my skin was quite dehydrated and therefore oily and i reacted really badly to cerave and the likes (basically any heavy products containing fatty alcohols) since they just broke me out and made me more oily. then i found a gel moisturizer which my skin really liked and i realized that this kind of light/gentle product was way better for my skin. right now i use a really light gel cleanser and hyaluronic acid lotion followed by snail essence and another gel like moisturizer. in the evening i basically do the same thing except i switch the lotion for a light bha. i can't name the products rn because i simply don't remember the names on the spot. basically i'm using very light, low ph, moisturizing products and nothing strong that might irritate me. haven't found a sunscreen that works for me yet though. as for where i get them i just order from amazon here in yurop a lot of products are available for quite affordable prices idk bout the US though. if you still care i could check later exactly what the products are. just beware that i don't really have acne i just treated my skin poorly and am now in the process of rebuilding it basically and these asian products helped me a lot.

is witch hazel bad for your skin?

Didnt get to see if someone replied to my post a couple of threads ago so I'll just ask again.

My doctor prescribed me Retin-A / Benzoyl peroxide 5% for my acne and I have been using it for about 5 months now. I use noxzema deep pore cleanser as a face wash as well. So far I have not seen any good results and I am contemplating trying something else. Should I use a different cleanser or just go to a dermatologist?

just go to a dermatologist

all i wanna say is that going from bad skin to pretty good skin is an amazing feeling and i hope anyone struggling is able to reach that point.

i wanna hug all of u

...

What clay mask should i get for oily skin? Is picrel good enough?

Was everyone on Veeky Forums always this vain?

Are you retarded?

Any advice on getting rid of scars? Its hard to tell due to shit pic, but I have four highly visible scars on my face.

Hyper-pigmentation, I need a cure senpai

I have back acne scarring that's beyond hope. Icepick scars, coloration, the works. Should I consider getting chem peels after college? My face is passable and I use makeup to hide minor scaring there. Was on steroidal mess in high school so most acne has died down.

I got dark spots from picking at pimples making them bleed and then picking at the scabs
Would a derma roller work?

you need to go to a doctor

i have tried so many different creams and oils for removing a scar after getting my nose punched open

nothing works

go to a doctor or a skin specialist or something like that, because stuff you can buy wont do shit

im sorry user

fuck off

bout to cop pic related, wanted to give skincare a try so i'm diving in headfirst. my main concern is really getting rid of acne scars since my face has got the swiss cheese situation going on but i don't mind having a routine, it seems fun.

what do you guys think of these products? friend suggested them to me since we both have normal-oily skin. as for cleanser i'm using cetaphil since it's what i've always had at home but i'm looking for moisturizer and sunscreen suggestions.

>Making fun of a poor 8 year old boy

You should be ashamed

>snail secretion

lads i'm telling you. aesop. the shit costs way too much but it's worth the money. they have everything you could want.

Heh heh i understood this joke

aesop is some gay shit. I'd rather buy some of that The Ordinary from Deciem compared to aesop. maybe if they spent less $$ shoving excessive, skin-irritating fragrances into their products, and used that leeway to lower the price point, they'd actually be worth it.
actually, it would be more worth it if they just removed the fragrances period.

how do i get rid of moustache shadow. please...

How do I heal acne scars.

...

I've had this issue since I was 16, it's like small acne. How do I fix this, my dad had this too and so have my brother's. I use acne products, and similar methods to no avail

Thoughts on dermarollers?

with a noose

Why would you say such a fucked up thing?

Don't fall for this meme.
Aesop is the most overpriced shit ever full of irritating fragrances.

Laser hair removal

Can we discuss shaving in this thread?

What is the best shaving soap and why is it Tabac?

What foods should I avoid to prevent break outs

Talk to a dermatologist

Like the bottom picture?
Time or laser.

Forget the snail shit.

High % weekly acid peel + daily niacinamide will fade your scars way better.

>mew
what actually is this and what does it do?

>tfw you still get pimples but the skin around the pimples is smooth as a babies bum

an optimistic feel

How do I get rid of black heads, is there a mask or something? There are so many on my nose.

Biore watery essence

Stridex Maximum Strength pads, use the textured side, then massage your nose until they come out of your skin

Speaking of which,
Any tips for 1st time Dermatologist consultation?
Like how do they usually rip you off or prices we could expect for certain treatments

Any questions for a Kiehl's skin care worker? If you guys have any questions or concerns or need any recommendations. I own many and have tried many of the products

Hey, i'm really getting into perfumes and i feel like my moisturizers are getting in the way. Does anyone know any non scented lotions?

ToOBS. Sandalwood is king faggot

>Water
>Cetaphil daily cleanser at night
>nothing in morning
>Dr.Bronners Tea Tree liquid soap on body
>Dr. Bronners Peppermint bar soap on body

Man it feels good to have grown out of acne

Cetaphil my man.

Are you that girl from couple of months ago?
I'm . What do you think about this mask? I need something for blackheads.
Oh and since spring is coming, could you say something about pic rel? My current sunscreen makes my skin very shiny and I don't really like it.

Cool. Where are you from?

Is it worth pairing their soaps with their aftershaves?

I know Tabac sticks around for a long fucking time and that's what I like.

My forehead and nose (only those areas) get oily like an hour after I was my face and the pores look big and puffy, what can I do to help this? Toner?

I bought their Jermyn aftershave once, it was like $22. It is a nice aftershave, but doesn't influence the shaving result. Not worth the price imo
I usually use a cheap $5 aftershave balm with (little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older) and don't notice a difference in skin color/quality/impurities.

use the saved money to buy paulas choice aha/bha exfoliator for literally DRASTIC changes

stirling makes some really nice soap

Acid peel?

Time.

I just started using biore watery gel sun screen as part of my daily routine. I read that since it's not water proof, you can sweat it right off. Are all non-waterproof sun screens like this?

>moisturise at night
>wake up with lovely skin
>wash it off in the shower
>skin is all red, bad spots inflamed, pores open
>moisturise again
>skin is all shiny and gross
>I go out wherever I'm going and get all sweaty and even grosser

I wish I could have my first-thing-in-the-morning skin all the time :(

don't wash it off in the morning then you dingus

I'm not sure if you guys really deal in this, but I'll give it a shot anyway:

I have a good routine for my face, and I don't naturally get much acne on my face anyway but I have mild-to-moderate acne on my back and upper arms. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to combat this?

>pic related, found on Google but mine is similar

in shower:
wash hair first then body then face
dry in the reverse order

10% BP and salicylic acid pads sort me out

if skin is dry get a heavy night cream moisturizer and cover yourself in it like a slug

Purging after applying a mask is normal and gets better...r-right? It's been 2 days since I applied a charcoal mask and when I woke up this morning I saw a bunch of tiny white heads. Tiny whiteheads is as bad as it gets, right? Right?

I had perfectly fine skin for most of my early teenage years, but about a year ago I got super red, itchy, inflamed pimples on my right side cheek and chin. Me, being the fuck head that I am, decided it was a good idea to scratch and pick at them. Although my new acne in that area isn't as terrible as it once was, I have this nasty scarring all around and have no clue how to fix it. I went to a dermatologist and he gave me a benzoyl peroxide night cream and I've been using for several months now with no fix it remedy.

Any ideas that might help? I don't even care to fix the scarring, I just want the red marks gone

I have to wash my face in the morning sempai or I don't feel anywhere close to awake

laughinggirls.jpg

put your fingers on the top and bottom of your nose and squeeze lightly, preferably after a shower when the pores have opened up

Some tips for preventing spots/acne: (that worked for me)

change/wash pillow case regularly
keep your face clean (wash two times a day with lukewarm water)
avoid touching your face and popping spots
drink green tea 3-5 times a week or more
if condition worsens, go to the doctors or dermatologist
and finally, patience.. acne won't disappear overnight

What should I change /fa? I've hit a bit of a plateau.

Dermarolling. Accutane. Change the sheet on your pillow literally every night, or use a fresh towel over it.

You're wasting a lot of money with all that stuff.

You should get something called Clindoxyl.

AM
Oil Cleanser
Foaming Cleanser
Konjac sponge
cream exfoliator
Toner
Stridex or other BHA/AHA exfoliant
because I have oily skin, I usually clean that off and I'm done there.

PM, maybe every other day
Cleanser
Toner
Chemical exfoliator
Clay mask
Jojoba oil/Argan oil
Serum, essence, or sheet mask
Cream/moisturizer

snail essence has fixed scars of mine, even cuts I get heal quick with it. Dunno why anons are shilling against it, I guess everyone reacts differently to it.

Most of my products are Korean, because I'm not fucking stupid, but I use a lot of organic stuff as well that I can get at the pharmacy near me.

Pore powder, and oil cleansing sheets. A pore minimizing toner could work, but there are a few chemicals you can get that work to reduce pore size, but that's a genetic thing... you just have to keep doing stuff every few days to shrink them/minimize their appearance... otherwise, well, I've had luck with powder.

Your derm is a fucking idiot. Benzoyl peroxide is for acne, not acne scars.

Thanks. Chicago land area

Yeah I am lol. That mask is pretty good. I use it on my nose area when I mostly get black heads. The peel off masks that are all he craze right now are super bad for your skin. Especially if they physically hurt, you're definitely doing some trauma to the skin. So wipe off masks are a lot safer. I actually love the sunscreen. It dries on matte, just use a little and shake it really well

also do you live in another country? the us packaging looks a little different. definitely the same formula

For active acne i suggest going on a low dosage of accutane(20mg-40mg) and for scars and hiperpigmentation i sugest time and dermarolling( you cant dermaroll while on accutane you have to wait 3 months after your course)
>Benzoil peroxide fucks your skin up leaving it even more irritated
>Cut Diary and Processed food and high satured fat foods (Find out what is causing the acne
>Change your pillow case more frequently
>Drink more water
> If you have oily skin use a cleanser, if not use moistrizer and sunscreen( helps hiperpigmentation)

Poland, but that's random pic from google. I'll look for it in my local shop. Thanks for help.

I'm 24 years old but people have always told me I look older, like in my late twenties. Honestly tired of this shit. Had a friend told me it's probably because of my expression marks.

Can retinoids help with this? What's more, I've read very conflicting articles about all these anti-aging products, most of them stating they don't work or that changes are barely noticeable.

Any of you guys had any experience with this?

I think I have generally shitty skin genetics. I got dry skin, keratosis pilaris, ass zits, occasional eczema...what do? Just continue with all kinds of different lotions and shit?

I want to start doing home chemical peels to fix my acne/ice pick scars. Anyone got experience doing any peels and have any recommendation on which peels to buy?

Witch hazel with a very small amount of alcohol is a terrific aftershave, if you shave. Otherwise, it's just a bare-bones toner. It can be very drying if you don't moisturize properly.

What's your diet like? How much do you exercise and how much do you weigh? Drink more water?

one is 50ml and one is 60 ml

My face is red all the time, I look blushed 24/7

do I just need sun

>use chemical peel
>use witch hazel
>use a baby towel to wash face gently
>use non sulfate facial wash
>use sunscreen
>moisturize
>profit?

I got prescribed Retin-A or something like that. Does this mean I no longer have to use an exfoliant?

I've never heard of Witch Hazel, how well does it work for Hyperpigmentation?
