by the looks of it the metal on the shoe is a different colour, the leather is probably of a higher quality also. looks a bit more expensive.

I bought a pair from Italy a couple of weeks ago and an annoying thing is that the metal eyelets rips the leather where it lies against the metal edges. Has any of you guys done anything to counter this or does it just happen to everyone?

I dunno, I bought the same size as my CP achilles and they fit perfecty. Like they seem to be a really comfortable pair of shoes once you've walked a couple of thousand steps in them

Back when I owned velcros I saw this happen early on so I took an iron file and grinded down the metal part to smooth it over

I didn't noticed this early so the tongue is a little scratched but its not noticeable and now the eyelet doesnt rips anymore, i just filed the edges
