I'm struggling to find a solution to the eyelets cutting into the leather of the velcro straps. I'm not sold on the idea of filing them down - rust etc.
My current low tech workaround is wrapping strips of paper around the inside of the eyelets, and maybe go for strips of thin fabric as an upgrade.
