i did, 90 lbs is the lowest i ever was which was on jan 6th. i maintain around 95 now but i never go any lower due to school/health.

Can you eat more calories if you do intermittent fasting? I was watching that Jason Fung video and he was saying not to count calories - which obviously is advice I'm not taking, but I'm still curious. Your TDEE raises? Or you just burn more fat during the fasting period? Has anyone seen this work on them? Like instead of 1400cal are you getting away with 1600 with the same results or something?

I can get away with a bit more than my usual 1200-1400. That being said, I've already hit my goal weight of 130.

That's great news. I'm going to stick with my regular TDEE, but, hopefully that will make maintaining a little easier.

It's supposedly bad for your GI tract in the long run but I don't know why sorry
It's also harder to keep up since most people will eventually feel more hungry this way (for some reason)
Probably nothing wrong with it just for a diet if you get all the nutrients and know you won't overeat due to lack of chewing

No worries, it's confusing to talk about. I think also it would be so hard to measure any difference that it's best to just eat ones TDEE like usual, and then if I keep losing while eating at TDEE I know I need to raise it a bit because of the IF (or just miscounting).

My hope is that the IF will fix my slow metabolism, but I'm not counting on it.

I have anxiety as well. I don't take any medication (when I was diagnosed my mom refused to pump me up with drugs), though I do smoke occasional weed (which can sometimes help). Anyways that does sound really stressful holy shit. I'm wishing you the best of luck user I know you'll get through this. And like you said..it can even help with food cravings since you'll be so busy :^)

almost definitely, or they'll just feel super shitty at the end of it. i reached 84 on 500-1000 in 2015 and i was mentally so fucked i couldn't even hold a conversation. i don't think going below 1000 for a prolonged period is a very good idea at all

i'd say probably don't go lower than bmi 16, have at least some amount of muscle mass before you get underweight, pace yourself and take breaks if you feel too shit.

IF has a lot of health benefits but don't push yourself to eat a lot at once if you don't have the stomach for it. being a mealcuck is totally okay :^)
