Urban Techwear General

>What is Urban Techwear
We wear clothes to be comfortable, to cover up our shame, and more importantly for our protection. Technical clothing, focuses on incorporating functionality using textiles and construction techniques to protect the user from their environment.

Needs more straps.
How much you bet he doesn't even use those extra pockets.

paper prototypes

toys can be tech

one of the meme-pics

run faster in expensive clothing

classic acronym (my preferred stuff)

u kno we luv that ninja shit

Do shoes need to have some sort of function to be techwear?

like ninja toys

>incorporating functionality using textiles and construction techniques to protect the user from their environment.

This is what all clothes are for: you have bought into a sales pitch.

I would say they have to prioritize function over form to be *good* techwear, but techwear is in practice more aesthetic than functional (or we'd all wear Tilley hats) so I guess cool-looking stuff gets a pass?

i'm just user tho, what do I know

No, at least not according to the previous thread

the OP is more of a 'wink wink nudge nudge' than a thesis statement

No, just like wearing tech wear you where shoes accordingly to the current weather

Summer is Coming

Would love to cop pants, or something similar

for some reason this image is super polarizing; i love this outfit tho

buy some wide linen pants and get them hemmed up and tapered a bit

< this was kind of a weird insta meme for a bit, all the regulars tossing double riders over their rainshells. it ended after about a month

But she's literally wearing paper

these shoes; terrible for going fast but damn do you look fast

Of course, why the heck would you do that. Just don't wear the shell.

I think it's black tyvek, which UEG makes a coat out of - it's a WPB textile usually used for houses but i've seen it in other places too. it'd be a fine clothing material and has a really interesting look IMO

I think adidas shoes are nicer but their clothing a shit. Would I look like a pleb to mix both?

>w2c slim cargos

This is pretty sweet looking but totally defeats the purpose of wearing tech stuff. might look good if it were a softshell or something

.... no?

< J-brands showing all of us international plebs up with their cool biz

girl on the left is wearing a rain kilt which are surprisingly popular for hiking, and after having tried one myself, are excellent for shoulder season backpacking

Engineered Garments is great. Wonder why they choose old men for their models.

W2C decent cropped pants

Wm is better

...

oooo w2c hat and walking boots.

How much of this ((((((tech))))))wear actually uses proper technical materials?

havent seen this before. pretty cool

Love this jacket. Hard to find at the moment.

Fav brand

What brands use c_change in their clothing? It sounds like the ideal tech fabric

>gets shot once
>fucking dies

hows my fit

Looks great, come to the discord and post your fit .

>Very tall and built
>Can't wear cool japanese brands like WM, UC, WTAPS, etc.

:(

You don't have to.

imagine the stupid noises his clothes make when he moves around.

I want cloaks like this become a thing again

>when the titans attack while you're stuck in the ACRNM warehouse

What jacket?

post colorful techwear
gothninja is soooooooo played out.

wow this thread actually seems to have positive vibes so far

I love all of this shit. What are the cheapest places to buy online? Knockoffs included

adidas lab84 m65

Look towards the discord, we're already playing with colours

ive been meaning to dye mine, what should i do?

good starting pieces for a newby. moving to Pacific Northwest and feel like techwear would be nice to get into

Look at Tuxbell

so what the fuck do you guys even wear during the summer

tech shorts/pants and a cav empt graphic tee duh

It's horrible for clothing. It is quite possibly the noisiest textile known to man.

taper them yourself

dump from the discord

Cool doggo

This is spreading slowly in London

I see this a lot too, but it's been something among streetwear kiddies for a while

w2c fleece? its pretty dope

They are everywhere in Belgium, never in techwear fits, mostly worn by normies.

Yes, I see so many 17-20 year olds wearing and none of them have pulled it off as a good look. It generally looksbet for a mature man with a decent beard (hip graphic designer look)

Eh, not a fan of them at all but whatever

allright boys, tear me down

I like your insta, keep it up.

the jacket seems bit too short
the pants are fucking great, I'm tired as fuck seeing mad tapered pants, straight fit all the way down aside from the cuff looks pretty refreshing
cut your hair tho

very good, you follow justin bieber don't you

No

because the silhouette is a fuckin square, obviously normies can't think past directly what's in front of them

>square
>calling others plebs
it's rectangle you dunce

Yeah, I wanted one of these for ages, but I can see it slowly starting to turn into a meme. So, fuck that shit for the time being.

this style has been bastardized so horribly
cringeworthy shit

looks like the mkd coat

buzz your head

No it's literally paper, I remember when it was first posted. It's like those disposable paper shorts at hospitals

tips le fedora
reddit is thata way buddy

Id on that jacket?

are crocs techwear?
in spirit if not in appearance

(not talking about the basic model here, the company makes other shoes too)

> novel materials (plastics + foams)
> novel production processes (injection molded)
> tech features (antistatic, antislip, antiodour/fungal, etc)
> vaguely tech looks on some versions
> ridiculously comfortable

why dont techwear companies use these things on actually good-looking shoes?

As bait goes I can appreciate the effort you put in here

natives zre more techwear though
