i've always been thin so size large definitely looks oversized on my torso with many brands. i really can't wear medium though because the sleeves never come near my wrists. my arms are unusually long

Broad shoulders, kinda wide hips, moderately athletic. I lift a lot but I'm not really lean. So.... broad. Shit man I dunno.

hard to find pants that fit right even with a belt unless I want only high-waters. Sweaters tends to not have long enough arms.

same height, same waist size but 146lb and I wear Small in pretty much everything, with the odd medium and a couple XS. Apart from shoulder tightness on buttonups smalls usually fit pretty well. What's your aesthetic? + post fits

Might be good thread to ask this in but does anyone have any experience with American apparel button downs? Picked up two bc of the sale in size small but even they seem overly large in the chest and length (arms neck and shoulders are fine). Is this just the style? Thinking about getting them tailored bc of it but seems silly to tailor cheap shirts.

I have kind of weird proportions in the way that while i'm not really tall, my leg and arm lengths are that of someone a few inches shorter than me. When I was a teenager/early 20s, I wore a 38/medium jacket but have since lost a bit of weight.
