>Graduate, finished: 2

What did you study? Was it worth the stay?

I don't understand how anglo education works. I know highschool is secondary education. But not what this under, post and graduate mean. And where's the doctorate?

>where's the doctorate?

under "postgraduate"

bamp

what do I put if I am an agnostic?

>no judaism
baka senpai

None/athiest
That is what you are.

I don't understand how that stupid system works, what the equivalence of a licence, or a master ?

sry I forgot

Bachelor = Undergraduate
Master = Graduate
PhD = Postgraduate

>board is full of fedora college freshmen

No wonder Veeky Forums has become so shit.

>full of fedora college freshmen
>fedora

It isn't, majority is atheists. Only 9% catholics.

>no option for agnostics

why? i don't want to be grouped in with atheists or "other"

if agnosticism is atheism then why are they even two separate words and concepts?..

There aren't the speak of 2 diffrent concepts

... what? english, nigger, do you speak it?

> Religion
> no "Judaism"
> "Other"

Multitasking, hard.
They don't speak of the same concepts , but differing ones.

I agree completely, friend. That is exactly why I said that agnosticism and atheism aren't the same thing.

But if you are agnostic you are an arhiest.

can you please elaborate why you think that way?

from stanford encyclopedia of philosophy:

on one hand

‘Atheism’ means the negation of theism, the denial of the existence of God.

>denial of existence of god

on the other hand:

Though there are a couple of references in The Oxford English Dictionary to earlier occurrences of the word ‘agnostic’, it seems (perhaps independently) to have been introduced by T. H. Huxley at a party in London to found the Metaphysical Society, which flourished for over a decade and to which belonged notable thinkers and leaders of opinion. Huxley thought that as many of these people liked to describe themselves as adherents of various ‘isms’ he would invent one for himself. He took it from a description in Acts 17:23 of an altar inscribed ‘to an unknown God’. Huxley thought that we would never be able to know about the ultimate origin and causes of the universe.

>complete ambiguity about the existence of god

therefore an agnostic is not an atheist and not a theist.

I for one do not deny the existence of any god.
I simply don't believe the tales told.

You know you can be an agnostic theist right?
Most atheists are agnostic atheists.
You don't have an affirmative belief therefore you disbelieve by default.

On top of that agnosticism asks can you or do you know. Atheism/theism asks what you think.

Like many things in philosophy the definitions are not very functional.

>Religious Belief
>Other: 26
Is this board full of pagans or what?

I know there's at least a couple pantheist memers

They're ayy lmaos who believe in their god emperor, Zlorg

But an agnostic has no religion, so "none" fits the bill

Yes

>high school, enrolled: 12%

This explains a lot about this board

that is correct.

>You know you can be an agnostic theist right?

how is that relevant to our definitions?

>Most atheists are agnostic atheists.

also irrelevant

>You don't have an affirmative belief therefore you disbelieve by default.

this is plain wrong.

>Like many things in philosophy the definitions are not very functional.

this is the only agreeable part of your post.

No i am completly correct.

Do you worship do you pray? No. Why because you dont believe.
The default stance of claims in general is disbelief.

You also ignored my actual explaination silly boy. You are just obstinate.

>therefore an agnostic is not an atheist and not a theist.

No, you moron.
