The Truth about NEETs

Daily Reminder that the "Enlightened NEET" lifestyle doesn't exist and is just a meme propagated by sad and lonely individuals who want desperately to internalize their personal failures by bashing the concept of working.

It's essentially in the same vain as "Fat Acceptance". They lack the effort and willpower necessary to pursue a real life, so they will try and appropriate their degeneracy by concocting myths like "Being a NEET doesn't stop from having a gf, or improving myself as a person", just like the fatties say "Healthy and beautiful at any weight."

Fact is, worldly and social NEETs do not exist. Such things are incompatible with the NEET lifestyle. If you see one of them try and claim any of the following things, make sure and call them out on it because they will back down very quickly when you do:

>I have a gf
>I have many friends, and party all the time
>I travel frequently
>I spend the free time I have from not working on increasing my knowledge in many fields
>I have lots of money and don't live with my parents

>social life is the meaning of life meme
>all others meme are wrong b/c i didn't choose it

ask for some serious help to u'r """party all the time friends"""

I hope no one is actually falling for this stupid meme. I always laugh when I see it because I know what's really going on. People with "NEET lifestyle" are just overgrown manchildren that are still leeching off their parents. Think that sounds cool? Well it's not sustainable. Mom and dad won't be around forever. Someday they are going to wake up to reality and face a very very harsh world because they have hardly invested anything into it themselves. Poor NEETS.

>its a normalfag episode

My end game of wagecuckery is buy enough properties to go back to being a neet

Former NEET and I can say this correct. I spent 4 years as NEET. It only suits people who are already fucked up in the head in some way.

If you're a normal, healthy person NEETdom will destroy you. Not being a working cog in some sort of way in some sort of society will destroy you.

>ask for some serious help to u'r """party all the time friends"""

Can somebody translate this unintelligible NEET babble for me?

Amen

I used to be a NEET too, which is why I know the "Enlightened NEET" meme to be bullshit.

lol whatever
im a wagecuck making double the median household income and i still live with my parents and have no friends/gf/hobbies

all of that shit is worthless and only tools care about it
i go to work because i have nothing to do all day

>Daily Reminder that the "Enlightened NEET" lifestyle doesn't exist and is just a meme propagated by sad and lonely individuals who want desperately to internalize their personal failures by bashing the concept of working

>He's THIS buttblasted

lmaooo!!!!

>The NEET poster troll threads actually got to him

oh boy

>responds to an obvious bait thread with CAPS and exlamation marks
>yet OP is the one who is buttblasted
I kekked

>>yet OP is the one who is buttblasted

He is.

This is the same person who got mad at my "Hello wagecuck" thread I made 2 days ago.

he used the exact same arguments in response to my thread in multiple posts and he nearly directly quoted my thread. LMAO!

>tfw wagecuck college grad
>tfw got 70K saved at the age of 22
>tfw have my own boat, party all the time, and have a gf
>tfw my job sucks but my life doesnt

>taking the b8 this hard
You're worse than OP lol

>About to graduate with an Information Systems degree
>Had a gf till about a month ago
>Have other potentially lined up
>Work 7-4 at a datacenter
>Working on RHCSA, new job

>Live with parents still

Truth is, I struggle with depression over the state of my social circle (I have good friends, just they're not exactly winners, and I don't have enough of them to get invited to house parties). I also get depressed at the thought of moving out.

Why is this? Does moving out help your social circle?

>I'm taking the b8
>OP has literally wrote 10+ angry paragraphs to me because I informed him I did not work for a living and he got upset

lmaooooo!

What wagecucks like OP fail to understand is not everyone wants the same kind of superficial bullshit that satiates him. Here's my answers to your stated benefits of being a wage slave:

>I have a gf
Well, my normie friend. Some of us here are satisfied with our own company and desire to be alone. I know, quite strange isn't it -- to think that a person could actually exist without having someone else to validate their existence. Must be such an alien concept to you, my frail wage cuck friend, but I do assure you that it exists.

>I have many friends, and party all the time
I find partying boring and deeply draining. The only reason to ever go to a party is to do drugs and I can get better drugs off the deep web. Parties are never enjoyable. Just filled with a bunch of insecure and overly loud normies trying to court each other like a bunch of uncultured, animistic retards who don't have a single original thought between their collective, stupid heads.

Also, the music is too loud and my feet hurt.

>I travel frequently
Traveling itself is also fucking terrible. Airports suck. Flying sucks. Etc. Nobody likes being trapped in a metal sarcophagus waiting to see the next shit show. I could agree that seeing new places and things is cool but the cost is almost not worth it. I'd much rather be comfy in my own place then not have any control over my life.

This is also coming from a guy who used to travel extensively …

>I spend the free time I have from not working on increasing my knowledge in many fields
2 days a week isn't enough to get any meaningful results from research or projects which is largely why almost all great inventions of the past few centuries were invented by people whose lives functioned similar to NEETs. I can guarantee you they weren't invented by wage cucks simply because wage cucks don't have the time. Feel free to look into this yourself. You'll find a similar theme throughout all great inventors, scientists, etc -- which is free time.

>I have lots of money and don't live with my parents
There are very few things that money can buy that are actually useful. You should also know that NEETbux is enough to live independently.

Spoiler: VR is coming soon as is universal basic income. The future is looking even brighter for the NEETs. Can you say the same wage cucks?

>I live a treadmill existence and spend my only life slaving after other's mindless expectations and my own mindless desires, without ever feeling really content, with an increasing dread at the fact that the bar on these expectations and desires are set higher and higher

fify

>still taking the b8
>pretending to laugh to hide the pain
Kek. Go suck each others dicks somewhere else please.

>still responding

>exactly

>he still replies

>Y-yeah! Take that! H-haha, those NEETs! I sure showed them!
>I'm sure none of them are aware of these obvious facts already! Just think! If that were true, it would almost be like I slaved away the best years of my life over nothing or something! Ha! Nope, not me, my boss who treats me like dogshit will surely come back to me with that opening he talked about the other day! It's not like helied to make me work harder or something! Bosses would ne er do that!
>Now, back to bed, I gotta get up early in the morning! Boy, I love my 8 to 6 job! Imagine if I didn't have it! I'd be confronted with the depressing fact of how empty and meaningless my existence is! I'd probably have some horrific realization about how buying more shit doesn't enrich my life in any way, shape or form or something! I'm so lucky!

fucking this.

Idk how people stand being wageslaves. Is it just being comfortably deceived by everyone?

Your boss you worked so hard for isn't going to do shit for you when the going getting rough. He's going to lay your ass off.

>b-b-b-but mr shekelburg! I'm going to be homeless! I have kids to feed! Does my 10 years of loyal service not count for anything besides your 3rd yacht almost being half paid off??!!

>He fell for the fell for the NEET meme meme

>exactly

Fellow IS student here. What's up senpai?

>THe wagecuck keeps refreshing the thread and replying while thinking he is le ebin troll

>implying I am a wagecuck
>implying I am OP
Kek. I'm just laughing at the fact you're still responding. I think you might even be a little MORE buttblasted than OP lel

you are also responding

I have no reason to be buttblasted, I'm just being smug because wagecucks ALWAYS Get anally destroyed when you point out that a life exists beyond earning profit for their master.

o-o-omg......

Yeah the degree is good. Covers all the bases. Get an internship though and figure out what area of tech you want to be in.

But yeah. I've never solved my social anxiety and worry. It's mostly a fear of missing out on having a good time.

>still taking OPs b8 this hard
Kek

For a while I wanted to do database administration but then I learned that all of those jobs will probably be made redundant by the cloud in future. Right now I'm focusing on information security and systems analysis as those might be reasonably viable and interesting.

Security is good, but people generally hire experienced IT people for security.

If you like systems analysis then definitiely get an internship and see how it actually is.

>still taking my b8 about taking b8 this hard

Yeah, true. My uni has a competitive entry internship program that I can hopefully get into. What area are you looking at?

I actually think i'm a rare exception to this.

I've always been a big introvert, and my dream was always just to own my own house, so i can hide away and enjoy my life in peace.

However in my teens, i really wanted to be cool. In my late teens, i met some people who liked me, and my wish came true.

The next 5 years i spent travelling the world, partying, meeting awesome people, experiencing cultures, having lots of relationships, etc. Also got myself a degree in CS.

Then when i was around 22, it dawned on me that this was not at all what i wanted, and i was currently dirt poor with no real prospects.

I hunkered down and started my own software development business. 5 years later, i sold my business for a little over 5m USD.

I am now a stay at home NEET.

I rarely leave the house or see anyone other than my wife.

I spend my days browsing the internet, playing games with online friends, coding games as a hobby, building robots, reading, etc.

I am blissfully happy.

Sysadmin/cloud tech for now. After a few years at least of that and learning networking, I want to try for a legit security role.

What does the cloud tech stuff entail? I always assumed that would go to IT as opposed to IS people...

Currently managing shit at a data center/managed provider. Windows, Linux, etc. Vmware esxi, hyper-v platforms, all that.

I want to move more towards automation shit like puppet and chef.

The NEET lifestyle does exist.

But its extremely hard to get the funding for it.

You either have to be born into wealth, convince the state that you deserve benefits, earn passive income, or acquire an extremely large sum of money in a short amount of time.

The NEET lifestyle is essentially the same as retirment. (aside from wageslaving decades to earn it)

A "real" life is a bigger meme than a NEET life. One is not inherently better than the otheir, both have pros and cons, depending on your valuation of both, one will be more or less appealing.

Remember that being NEET is essentially the same as being retired.

I would be a "NEET" if I could afford it, but for most the lifestyle is unobtainable in early life, and by the time most can attain it, they are 70 years old, and they call it "retirement".
