I don't get why people here own so many fucking pairs of blacks shoes. Are they goof ninjas or some shit? I feel like black shoes don't look good in most situations and are not super versatile.
Obviously they can look good, but not to the point where you would want to own 10 black shoes with them being half or most of your collection.

do vans get bigger after breaking them in? i think i got one half a size too big but it fits nice if i tigthen the laces quite a bit, i was going to return but i'm not sure anymore. it doesn't fit that well without socks either, but i don't really like going sockless
btw vans are not that common where im from so i have no frame of reference if you're supposed to tighten it a lot or not
The ''expensive'' shoes are the martens creepers which were 220 pounds iirc, the martens boots 250$, the play converse 120$, the timbs which I assume were 200? (don't know, got them as a gift four years ago) and the monkstraps which were 280€. Out of those I only regret buying the boots because my frame is extremely skinny and even though I like chunky shoes the boots are too much. The only thing I'm missing is a pair of quality loafers and not those shitty h&m and slp 60mm wyatts. I could have bought any of those two instead of the converse, boots and monkstraps but to be honest I wear them way too much and like them a lot.
