Bitcoin Stolen?

Hey Veeky Forums, I have a serious need for advice.

A considerable amount of BitCoin was taken from my account on a certain BitCoin gaming website.

The money in my account was earned fairly and honestly, through one of their games being flawed. No tampering of any type was done nor was there bots involved. It was 100% just me wanting to keep winning because a game was bugged.

What do? I feel like I have a right to that money, it's not like I did anything illegal, right? And is there any legalities involved with the money I've been able to keep before they wiped my online account?

Bump. I'm also curious to this outcome.

>He has virtual money
>He spends it on a game
>Game is bugged so he wins more cash
>Games takes all his cash

What are the legalities involved

I gambled a lot of money on BitDice and a vast majority of it was taken because I won a lot because of a very simple bug

Yes you are curious because you are OP.

/thread

I'm not OP, but okay buddy.

Should have gotten out while you could. Only thing you did wrong was be too greedy

I got a considerable amount while I could but the vast majority was just taken.

I mean, it's not my fault that the game was bugged, and I didn't do any tampering or botting and I didn't break any rules of the website.

Also samefag is because of my roommate, sorry.

You realize there are ids linked to posts on /biz and yours matches the OP? Jesus christ.

Im done bumping your thread but just know theres nothing you can do. Site found the glitch, and took the coins you got from exposing it. Shoulda cashed out and not gotten greedy like the retard that you are.

Bye OP. And have fun knowing you just lost money.

>also samefag is because of my roomate

Lol no. You are just a RETARDED NIGGER

When was it taken? Did you spend a whole day exploiting their game and then think "Wow I really ripped these guys off! I'll go to bed and continue taking their money tomorrow! "

How is your first thought NOT to gtfo after you do something like that? I suspect you have a history of pulling this kind of stuff.

Hes a nigger. Niggers dont know when to stop being niggers.

It was all taken within the past few hours, and no, I'm not a retard, I was cashing out simultaneously while earning winnings and actually cashed out a lot of BitCoin, but the transactions were cut off after a certain point in time and wouldn't process. Do you guys know anything about Bitcoin transfers at all?

And yes, my first thought WAS to gtfo, I'm not a retarded 7 year old. I was transferring Bitcoin to my wallet in increments as I was winning.

You can keep what you transferred. What they took back is wiped.

Whats was the bug btw? and how do you found that?

>roommate
I always kek when I hear this excuse. It's so fucking stupid. Just fess up to the samefag. Also, you already know how you fucked up. You thought that an unregulated, sketchy gambling website would play fair and make good. You also thought that bitcoin worked like credit cards or banks and that you were protected under the legal system.

You should not have made 3.000 transactions. Should lost a little, come back few hours later.
Made like 2 transactions max per days.

Also you should have made multiple account.

>I'm not a retarded 7 year old
Could've fooled me.

nah dude youre screwed

you used a grey area legally (gambling online illegally but with "not real money") and that shit has no backsies

just accept its gone and move on - also spill the beans on how you figured out a bug

Op is such a retard its pathetic.

Hopefully he loses even more money today.

>KEK

Yeah, you see idiots lose money, it is in the nature of what they do.

when will people learn that unregulated market means the guy you have an sql account with can do whatever the fuck he wants with your "coins".

only what is in your wallet is yours but not even that for sure it's just very very likely you have them.

you don't own a goddamn thing you paid to some fuckers address.

doesn't matter all casino software has alerts if someone is not losing according to the odds but "beating the odds" even so slightly.

they will monitor what he is doing and figure it out.

how much bitcoin did you make overall?

>Go to Las Vegas.
>Put a coin on slot machine.
>Receive one jackpot sign. Second one. And the third slot was about to give the jackpot sign, but stopped, the arrow pointing at an empty space barely below the third jackpot.
>Still, alarms, lights and the entire show. Wohooo, you won a gorillion dollars!
>Casino owners: "Nope, the machine malfunctioned, we owe you nothing, here's on the contract. Well, we take pity on you, here, we'll give the coin you bet back".

Google it. "slot machines malfunctions". Is entirely legal for established casinos to deny any prize if the machine isn't working properly, partly to stop cheaters with tampering with the casino property, and partly to, guess it, loss tons of money to unexpected bugs and unintentional exploits.

And that's on physical casinos located within regulated areas in the same country where you're physically standing. Do you really think shady casino with fiscal address in some backwater shady country is going to give you a shit? hahaha, be grateful they didn't send thugs to recover the money you took in bitcoins.

TL, DR: you're fucked, OP.

If you already cashed some out I would be thankful they aren't sending a collection agency after you.

You don't have a claim to winnings made through a glitch.

Yup

Hey OP here

The bug itself was that the Blackjack game would deal the same hand every time and was not programmed to randomize, so you could hit the same buttons and keep winning.

I'm not too worried about what was kept from us, but one of the owners has tried contacting me through a throwaway saying he has my ip and which bitcoin wallets were used and wants the coins back or will "press charges."

Can he legally even do that? Online gambling is illegal in America as long as it's American money, and there are no laws about Bitcoin as long as it's not drug money or some shit. Also they're in Costa Rica apparently.

>Can he legally even do that?
not bloody likely
tell him to suck a thousand dick or pull a nigerian prince on him
tell him you needs some cash to send his bitcoins back because you had to pawn your notebook you had the wallet on.

make it believable that you made backup of the wallet on a pendrive but you lost it or get damaged.

no even better is your crazy ass roommate who is a drug addict pawned your notebook.

>Also they're in Costa Rica apparently.

Their legal address is Costa Rica. As you said, on-line gambling is illegal on your country, but the authorities can't do a shit to some company who's in another country, so they sign the papers to legally establish there. However, their operations and stuff can be anywhere in your same country.

Said that, I highly doubt they can do anything legally talking. Outside the law? Who knows? They may have your IP, but I don't think that's going to help to track your address and name, so without those data is impossible to any judge to issue an order.

Unless you signed with your real name and address.
