I'm a woman and I'm looking for quality clothing after all this years with Zara and H&M filling my wardrobe...

I'm a woman and I'm looking for quality clothing after all this years with Zara and H&M filling my wardrobe. So I'm looking for brands with quality pieces; I have a rather elegant, casual chic style, simple with little to no colors. I just want to have some quality basics and I was thinking about APC, Stone Island and Acne: is the quality worth the price? Do you guys have other quality brands for me?

Acne and APC are alright but kinda overpriced
if you want great quality knitwear go for brands that specialise in wool or cashmere like Johnstons of Elgin

bump i guess ?

>I have a rather elegant, casual chic style, simple with little to no colors

I'm looking for some quality basics too but I'm a dude. I'm already done fuckin with h&m's quality

thx for your constructive comment :)

I love Acne and APC but would normally try and cop on sale, unless there is a really nice statement piece you like. I would check out Nordstrom/Rack for mid range basics. Rag and bone has nice knits as well that are worth it on sale. I would check out Muji if you have one near you too. They have great basics, some with really interesting cuts for women

Thank you! I also thought about Muji, really love the minimalistic aesthetic they have and quality seems good.
I also would like some brands that make good jeans and trousers, since I'm done with jeans making holes a few months after buying :/ I'm v skinny and idk about levi's sizing so ?

bump this is a good thread

>I'm a woman

You're part of the problem

I'll rape you if you say no

poo in loo pajeet

>anons still not over his ex

I'm a good clean white. Your description of me as a smelly shitskin might give *the lady* something to protest about

If I had an ex we wouldn't have a problem

Don't buy stone island as a chick, i'm not really a fan of the look on girls. What about CDG? Rei makes beautiful pieces for women... I wouldn't go too heavy on APC/Acne but that's only because I find both lines to be a bit dull. Maybe just browse neiman IRL and handle a few garments see what you like what you don't like?

My reasoning is that honestly a lot of the brand's hype is built around annoying pop culture icons, Drake, etc... And the brand is really known for being a favorite of football hooligans in the UK. Imo the aesthetic is better served on people "about dat life"

are you skinny ?

err that sound so cringey but i didn't know how else to put it, apologies /fa

i just thought about one sweater, like that one (or something more "heavier" if i could say) and I'm going to buy very soon a CDG hoodie haha, so good timing, I love them and they seem very comfy.

yupp, and I'm also not very tall

>Zara and H&M filling

You cant heal brain damage.

: (

>not very tall
How unfortunate...

how tall are you?

If you're in Europe you can't wear Stone Island without looking like a hooligan, but I think it's a sexy look.

>if you want great quality knitwear go for brands that specialise in wool or cashmere

this

ikr
i'm about 165cm tall i think
Didn't know about that (I'm from France) but I really love their sweaters

Everlane is a good brand if you're willing to pay (I think it's worth it personally). Their clothes/shoes are elegant, great quality, and ethically made. I've had a pair of everlane flats for three years now and they look new every time I polish them

Checked them out and they're exactly my style, elegant and minimalist, thank you user!

get it in gray if you want to keep that chic vibe I guess

Muji quality is shit, buy your basics from cos, or gu if you're on a budget

our legacy and norse projects might be similar to what you're looking for
also uniqlo is real good if you want a cheaper option

be my gf ;_;

checked our legacy and norse projects but they don't seem to have decent pieces for women :/
I would go to uniqlo and muji (but some user warned me about quality) to buy some really basic things like shirts and tees, but I'm trying to build a quality wardrobe, that lasts in years, since I'm quite a minimalist. So I'm really willing to put the price in it for more quality and timeless pieces (thought about investing into a Burberry coat ie)

b-but..

o-ok....

h-hey..

I'm fairly sure the user you're responding to didn't mean CDG Play, but rather mainline pieces. Play are just basics with the logo plastered on, don't buy them, especially considering the price point.

I recommend you check out "Comme des Garçons", "Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons" (not a meme, that's the name of the line) and "Tricot Comme des Garçons" as that line specializes in knits for women specifically. Try ebay, rakuten or yahoo auctions japan to find this kind of stuff for quite cheap. The quality is usually impeccable.

Well I didn't know about that, thanks a lot. I hope they got some nice pieces in their Paris store and not just Play CDG.

afaik they stock mainline stuff at the main Paris store but I've never been there personally. I know there is a "Pocket Store" in Paris and other cities where they usually stock Comme Des Garçons BLACK which is a cheaper unisex diffusion line.

I think it'd be a good idea to visit those stores to see the pieces in person - however, I'd only buy used cdg as it tends to get pricy otherwise

Might I recommend full rick?
