Grew up in a small town, so I never saw walking memes before

Perhaps we should not only post images, but talk what influences our fits, wardrobe, style, taste etc.

Not a bad idea

As a recovering emo kid and closet weeaboo, I've always loved the theatre and androgyny associated with more gothic styles. That said, not only would going full Ann be autism levels of out of context for work and uni, but it would be impractical as fuck to worry about all of that flowing fabric.
To that end I incorporate some details from my inspo fits into everyday wear (long belt, high boots, rumpled shirt, etc) but keep it minimal enough that I'm not mistaken for a cosplayer.

What made you get in the 'scene' and get out of it?
When would wearing Ann be appropriate for you?

Boot Camp Clik is a dope group, and I like the picture cuz it shows a trend that is now completely gone from pop culture: late 90s / early 00s Brooklyn hip hop style, with the big military jackets, baggy pants, and timbs
A few years later, Puerto Ricans adapted the look and added AF1s and Yankees fitted caps (which were hard to come by until like 04) for the short-lived reggaeton fad in like 05/06

Now military jackets are slim fitting and on sale at Target

I happen to think Buckshot is a good rapper tbqh
