NYC, brooklyn
yep
I absolutely detest giant cities, particularly modern ones
My favorite area though, is Alsace/Elsass. It's by far the comfiest architecture and town design I've ever seen. Google it if you have time
ugly ginger bread house shit
Ya wat m8
You must be Jewish.
China
we dont care about your opinion OP just want facts
>fashionable cities with fashionable people
>old french people who can't dress for shit
uhhh user..
Literally what? I'm seeing some extremly effay suits in that pic
I guarantee that all those old fucks dress way better than any of you Rick faggots
everywhere in the west is just liberal spergs copying shit from tumblr
eastern europe is casual poor-wear
the rest is third world shit
the world is not fa
in that architecture theres too much emphasis on the wood beams its not harmonic in that sense, it's too much wood beam
ghent or brugge shits on that city
id take rich white conservative fashion any day over pimply middle class white twink kids with adidas and the latest type of pants the fat jews have decided to pump as trendy
I know you were replying to my posts and not OP, and the wood beams aren't meant to be aesthethically pleasing only, but they were used as a building technique back in the days called half-timbering, which basically only Germans did. Brugge and Gent use a lot of newer techniques and also a lot of stone so they are completly different. I find Belgian cities very compelling aswell btw, except the modern parts ofcourse
>suits
>effay
you cannot make this shit up
lol i know
my point is exactly what ive written it is, just because the beams arent meant to be for aesthetics only doesnt mean i cant judge the aesthetics. so i will continue to judge
Yeah ofcourse, I just think it makes the town more comfy when it's obviously organic and not too planned
there is some appeal in organicness, the identity of the town will quickly stand out because of the cultural heritage of its inhabitants. its why every little town will have its own soul. from the proportions and size to the colours and roofs and windows everything is affected by the people who live there and their techniques and the systems that govern the peoples lives.
shame about modern architecture, buildings in dubai look the same as the ones in new york because the world is more interweaved and we are losing individual culture the more interconnected the world becomes
>it's too much wood beam
At least our buildings won't be underwater in 20 years, Maarten.
im swedish you fuck ive just traveled
Seoul is Veeky Forums
Ohh shit what up cuck boi
expect in small cities effay individuals are basically non-existent and there's fuck all to do
also LONDON
if you like H&M and Supreme maybe
London is decent for fashion sometimes ngl
Berlin
I'm convinced that the people who think this either do not live here or have very bad taste. Brooklyn is done, over. It isn't 2013 anymore. Everyone dresses the same and it's not effay unless you are a 19 year old arts school student. Are parts of Brooklyn pretty? Of course, it's a beautiful borough, but it's not effay.
Montreal
Chicago. Has been since the 80's
No thank you user. Not tryna catch bullets today, no sir
Milwaukee
Barcelona
Just came back from HK, gotta say it was pretty fucking effay. It obviously has something to do with the super high median income but people dressed very well.
In the US I would say that Seattle is a pretty effay city, though people here don't dress at all that well.
Then of course NYC, but is right deffo not brooklyn. Or Soho.
my guy
it truly is the best
Oceanside, California
if you are looking for the authentic grungy beach-trash vibe
though we are in the middle of gentrification so live it up while you can, need to build gas chambers by the pier to get rid of these yuppie cunts and mexcrements
Seattle
Whats in Seattle? Thinkin of visiting
From, Ottawa thinking of going soon any stores to check out?
I wouldn't recommend visiting desu unless you have friends here
It's a generally a pretty great place to live (if you have money) but there's not much to do as a tourist
Seattle here Yup
Adelaide
These guys get it
I do HONESTLY think Seattle is on the rise. I don't live there, never have, but I think Seattle is on the come up.
is paris really muslim infected or is that just a meme
also where else in france is safe
dont fucking come here
we dont want you
go to portland or vancouver
my city is really cool right now, have fun when swarms of people from flyover states start moving to seattle.
>is paris really muslim infected
Yes
>or is that just a meme
HAHAHAHAHA no. It's so infested that the Berber muslims hate the Arab muslims and have little internal wars.
Milan
Shenzhen
Alsace was kinda cool I guess, definitely not Veeky Forums though.
almost 10 years too late
everyone that lives in bk now has 3 kids, works for a shitty startup and shops and whole foods
melbourne
>berber muslims hate arab muslims
desu I prefer berbers far far more, never met a nice arab, they're just all so rude and unpleasent
Paris is muslim infested if you live in the poor parts. Simple solution, just don't be a poorfag
not antwerp :3
Amsterdam
Grew up there. Least fashionable place ever. Genuine, real americans, yes, just completely anti-fashion.
see
Visited about a month ago from Sydney. If the weed culture wasn't a thing I'd agree with you but after about a week the smell and the shops just got so overbearing.
Everyone I went with agreed Berlin was easily the best city we visited.
...
Florence is the most beautiful city I've ever been to. Lit Medici designs. Most people were neatly dressed too.
>This pic
I'm parisian myself. Honestly our city is sinking slowly but you know what I'm alright with it. I like this side of things. I find the cheap neighboorhoods to be comfy af.
Not Kansas City
t. Guy from KC
One of the most effay places ive been to is Zagreb, Croatia. Pic related.
My favorite thing about it is the architecture. It's a mix of mediterranian Italian, romantic, and commie block-esque buildings from the yugo war. It was so cool seeing old 17th century buildings right next to militaristically simple apartments and whatnot.
Amsterdam is overrun with assholes who think its the most fashionable place in the world, thus making it very unfashionable. And fuck bicyclists.
ur a stupid shit
I'm going there this fall, bought a whole new wardrobe on some preppy sites and gilt with that end of year summer sale.
No more nikes bois.
Portland Maine here
not by any stretch the most fashionable but its on the come up. cozy place
Just watch out for the somalis
>genuine, real americans
>in the blackest, most crime filled city in WI and most of the midwest
fucking kekarooni
Back to the subject I'd say in the Midwest Appleton, Madison and the Twin Cities are your best bets for an effay city but it's not much compared to other places
Boulder, Colorado
genuinely little to no issues with recent immigrants from being here two years.
worst thing that's happened is one guy begging everyone to use their cellphone but
the locals here are way more of a hassle than that
Born and raised in Seattle here,
Seattle in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s had this unique aesthetic being the biggest city in the otherwise obscure corner of America that is the Pacific Northwest. Its culture fueled the rise of cultural phenomena like grunge and starbucks in addition to mega-corporations like Microsoft and Amazon.
Like most truly cool things however, once the masses catch on it stops being cool. In the past few years there has been a population boom in Seattle unlike anything in its history, except maybe in the days of the Klondike Gold Rush. Tens of thousands of Californians are moving to Seattle to take advantage of the quickly growing job market. At this point it is basically another San Francisco; highly gentrified, full of wealthy people with no sense of style chasing an aesthetic that existed but has long since vanished. Tacoma at this point would probably feel closer to how Seattle was in the 80s and 90s.
Currently living in mke for college. Where did you end up moving to?
>Twin Cities
Explain this. I live in Bumblefuck, Minnesota and I've never seen a single fashionable individual whenever I visit.
>anywhere in australia
LMAO
not good, full of obnoxious erasmus/american study abroad students.
nice architecture but the nightlife/general populace is pretty normie
>he doesn't like urban kayaking
IMO all top tier regarding nightlife, fashion, overall look of city/architecture::
NYC
London
Prague
Berlin
Budapest
Milan
Paris
Barcelona
Moscow
Amsterdam
Copenhagen
Tokyo
(not top tier but still cool places to live)::
LA, Antwerp, Lyon, Seoul, Kiev, Rome, Portland, Lisbon, Montreal
absolutely not
>chi
This.
>can't take a joke
Tokyo without a doubt
Despite being the largest city in the world in terms of population it actually has one of the best ratios of at least moderately fashionable people to complete plebs
Most of the other major big cities like NY, London, etc... have very fashionable people but they also have huge amounts of typical pleb normies
pyongyang tbthwy, tres cool
is this true? I've never been there so I could be wrong but everyone I come across that lives Brooklyn is some scrawny jewish guy with an odd beard who takes boring photos with a Canon ae-1
>calling someone a cuck
>in the same post as saying Seoul is effay
like pottery
Copenhagen
>Ctrl+F 'Stockholm'

Brasil my friend :^)
Completely unironically Seoul.
Young East Asians are the most Veeky Forums demographic
Every scandinavian capital but helsinki
Helsinki isn't in Scandinavia, friend.
this is a very good list. I would just add Stockholm, Rome, Madrid and maybe Seattle.
seattle is homelesscore as fuc
Scandinavian cities are definitely effay
Copenhagen and Stockholm look nice, Oslo looks like absolute crap, but Helsinki looks Godly
it's a shame they're being overrun by so many arabs/africans. they're losing their identity.
only bad thing about them.
cities like Prague, Moscow, Budapest, Krakow are nice because they still have a feel of their own culture, while still having a cosmopolitan/international feel due to all the European students on erasmus or something
you american perhaps?
>swede detected
don't be mad cuz we stylin on u
hel-looks.com
Alsace is not a city, it's a region of France.
Strasbourg is the main city of Alsace (this is where I'm from).
The life is pretty cool here, but not really Veeky Forums (some cool stores though)
come home ins Reich
nah seattle was never actually fashionable though
people here have always worn garbage clothing
