Why is the shadow of the moon so small? Real shadows usually get bigger the farther away from the light source they are.

The moon is very close to the earth and both the earth and moon are very very very far from the sun. The moon is smaller than the earth so its shadow can't really cover a large area.

It could work for a more "silvery clean" straight "lunar" fit but you'll find that most ppl here really try to go for the dead future/HR Gieger kind of Lunarcore which is mostly Grey's and sands and very little to no silver or shiny pieces
