Fashion serves as a beacon of society. It helps humans understand other humans better and makes social interaction far easier than if we were just naked bodies. So it really does matter what you wear and what people perceive about you through your own clothing.

fashion reflects who you are to some extent but it doesn't really matter and is ultimately superficial when compared to who you are. I do think peoples fashion choices are a reflection of their inner self to some extent and can reveal something deeper about someone.
