No. I'm from a similar country in south America and had a leather jacket that looks like that, the quality is really good (if they're still making them the same) and it's warm as fuck

It will look odd on you, you'll feel self conscious about it and you'll end up not wearing it.
I know from experience, especially with other types of leather jackets that made me look like I belonged in one of those awful yesstyle compilations.
