Now that I have some Swedish loden trousers I can safely say that they deserve their reputation and are better than the Finnish and even Swiss versions. The Swiss still have the most beautiful fabric though, and the Finns are definitely the most modern and casual. Probably going to get some more of the Swedes in different versions. I wonder where I can get Norwegian ones...

Finnish loden jacket is still the best though.

The jacket I got at the flea market for 5€, but they're also on Varusteleka for 20€ right now. They had them for 1€ once, apparently. Varusteleka is also where I got my Swiss and Finnish trousers. The Swedish I got from Beredskapsboden, which another user told me about in one of these threads. That user also had the courage to post a fit, which you don't see very often in these, probably because they're badly disguised /pol/shitting for the most part. If you do order from Beredskapsboden, get the more expensive stuff. I got a pair of quasi unused, very nice and soft loden trousers there, no wrinkles or anything, from 1940. I also ordered one of the cheaper ones, very coarse and wrinkled. Still better than one would expect from WW2 gear, but not very comfortable at all.

Right now I really want pic related but I already have a Varusteleka package on the way. If only I had waited two more days, I could be a regular Finn the Human.

Quite loosely starting at the bottom, so as not to constrict blood flow in the ankles and calf (a problem in WW1, hence the superiority of short puttees, gaiters and Kraut Jackboots). With cheaper wool blends, when the calf and ankle swells in heat/marching or the wool gets wet, it can constrict, so there's definitely a knack and a learning curve. They were largely worn as a fashion choice by the European genteel army's taste in order to look smart (like very high belts and impractically high mounted holsters), but were actually still used in English regiments until the 1970s until they were properly phased out. When done correctly they are really warm, really protective of burrs, hard wearing and don't slip down (use a miniature blanket pin to fasten them). They just take a while to put on and wool dries slowly (but is quite waterproof if treated). Pretty much every European tribe wore puttees, called Winingas, often inside their leather bootees (unstructed leather socks with hobnails or nothing). People's feet and calves were much healthier and stronger back then, walking in leather socks really activates your lower legs and forces your bones into alignment. It also reduces the risk of Alzheimer's, as it requires mental effort and problem solving to detect a good path for your (almost) bare feet. That's why I wear minimalist or reenactment boots out hiking, sometimes with winingas when i don't give a fuck about looking larpy

Any good brands or sites for this? To date VivoBarefoot are the only tolerablly fashionable barefoot shoe brand I know of. OtzShoes were nice once but as of lately they only produce the ugliest damn things.

Boots are the Austrian paratrooper meme boots. They are laced up really messy, but I'll be fixing that. I thought ladder lacing might look neat, but ultimately it just muddles things.
I was thinking about switching out the pants for some Swiss alpenflage trousers and using a sweater instead of the field jacket.
I do need more camo pants though.

Because it is. Have you considered dying the Alpenflagge? Haven't done it myself, but I imagine dying a darker shade of brown would look really good.

Do you have a problem with early European nations? The Greeks, or on a more decentralised level, the Germanics and Anglo Saxons? They had a semi free market, a degree of capitalism is (inb4 meme) human nature. These nations then transformed into some of the most successful socialist nations, like Norway and Sweden which has very little class inequity and really high taxes and was, until the migrant crisis, a bit of a socialist utopia. What these countries had in common, my friend, was social solidarity secured by perceived ethnic homogeneity- the locals looked at one another as part of an extended tapestry of the same ethnic background, who had endured the same trials and in some cases whole stocks were perceived to be directly related to each other (for example, everyone believing they descended from Charlemagne and his dynasty).

This social solidarity is proven to lower crime, lower tax evasion, lower cortisol levels, there are tangible tests done on this. You can easily have a socialist society in an ethnostate, Japan or Israel could easily switch to high taxes, Engelian economics etc, because the social solidarity and sense of tribal union and loyalty would encourage everyone to work for the greater good of their people, to contribute taxes, instead of feeling bitter and resentful that their land is being palmed off to invaders and these invaders don't want to work, won't play fairly, act violently (and whites get blamed), and lo and behold civil unrest goes through the roof, whites stop having babies, and placate themselves with mindless hedonism and consumerism.

If you want to abolish rampant late stage capitalism, you can only do it in an ethnostate where people consider each other brother and sister, part of a tribe. A black man will never call you brother, a Muslim will always consider you a kufir, a Somalian will not have the IQ or time preference to work as hard as you and won't bother to contribute taxes when he can easily pimp women or sell heroin or sit on welfare. This is immutable truth and we have tried to get other tribes to join in with us, but they are categorically net takers, not givers. They cost billions in taxes and programmes to elevate them to the performance of whitey, and they still fail. Whites contribute in taxes, meanwhile the voluntary unemployment of Muslims in the U.K. is 70%, much higher for their women. We have no social solidarity in the Uk, most people hate each other and especially hate the migrants, we don't have a society - we just occupy the same overcrowded island and reluctantly pay taxes to build the next mosque or combat "racist" complaints about Pakistani paedophile gangs.

Mindless consumerism is just one symptom of a nihilistic race. White western women aren't having kids because they subconsciously perceive that their children will have a bad future - minorities in their own schools, "toxic (healthy) masculinity" will be abolished

Also, all belligerent races are not analogous. The gang violence by European whites is practically non existent. The rapes by whites are a fraction done by Africans. Whilst the goyim may join in, it is impossible to deny the organisation, nepotism and ethnic solidarity of the Jews within white lands, and the collective conscience their culture fosters. Over 70% of Jews voted for Hillary, for instance, and there is endless evidence showing their unification over social issues like post modernism, feminism, all of these things that foster rootless cosmopolitan consumerism that you dislike. There is a huge trend for Jews pushing post modern, deconstructionist causes - they were the dominant voices in the suffragette movement, in gay marriage, in open borders - and these causes are simply not pushed by people with just as much power, like rich Asians or rich whites. Are Jews just cool and nice progressives with lots of money, or are they nefariously acting to break apart the solidarity and collective identity of their host nations? Until you read the Talmud, and listen to people like Naomi Wolf, Karl Schwarz (the Jew who lobbied for open borders in Sweden), it might seem like they are innocently pushing progressive values. However once you stop to actually listen to them, the idea that it is a "conspiracy theory" that they want to dismantle the traditional, spiritual, identitarian culture of the west is wrong - it's not conspiracy theory, you can hear endless rabbis and intellectuals make the argument that White Europe is toxic, that Jews have a hard time in a high trust white society, that Whites have been the harshest to Judaic practices, that if white nations were diluted the Jews would be free to prosper. Remember the whole crux of their morality - they are the Chosen Tribe, we Gentiles exist to serve them. Go figure why they are dismantling our sense of pride and encouraging us to stop having children, stoking civil unrest and anti white sentiments.
