I can't produce any factories but the fact that brands like Visvim manufactures high quality items out of China should prove that we shouldn't judge quality based on country of production. fyi Nakamura explains his choice to move parts of production to China bc it's the only place in the world where you can still reliably and relatively affordably get handsewn goodyear welt. these factories just don't exist in other parts of the world anymore

I had a bomber from the YKK period and while not a bad zipper, it is a different dimension from the Rs. I also have a leather jacket made in Moldova and I can't tell the difference from an Italy one I sold. As already said ITT, the place of production doesn't mean anything. It's about quality control and (if you're so inclined) the fair work conditions for the factory staff. All his shit is insanely overpriced anyway.

Could be the Olmar&Mirta factory just can't keep up with all the stuff they need to do seasonally so they need to use the Moldova one occasionally.
