Always wanted to ask, how do you guys fund this whole thing in general? You all using your life savings, or do you have a specific amount of money you set aside for stocks. I got 10,000 and im trying to find a place on how much money i'm comfortable on using.
Henry Sanchez
Thank fuck afterhours are done now I don't have to keep hating myself as this fucker rises
Adrian James
How about that $1.21 AH close with 3.8mil vol? Incredible. Made 5k off of this so far. Thinking of what my strategy is going to be tomorrow. Anyone have any advice?
Matthew Walker
I just set aside money. With $GEVO, I just went "YOLO" after doing some digging around and researching the science behind what they're producing.
Since you have 10,000--start small. I'd start with like 2k, then build from there. If you're smart, you'll have another 10k relatively quickly. That's what happened to me, except I only had 8k.
Anthony Bell
Just extra money I have from working 40 hours a week. I put about $400 a month in my savings account for stuff like this.
Benjamin Robinson

I just started playing with $300 as this is my first month, but I'm up about $200 so far on GEVO.

Sold at .60, then realized it wasn't even close to over and bought 170 shares with what little buying power I had left. Fuck you poor judgment, and fuck you Robinhood Instant for taking too long. :(

Robinhood instant is what fucked me..sorta. I had 100$ to spend but buying back in would be my 4th day trade so I wasn't allowed to.
Bentley Morris
Is it too late to board the $GEVO rocket?
I put my money into $ORIG and $MGT
$TTNP looking good again
Aaron Evans
ayy lmao who /fucking retarded/ here?
Anthony Brooks
Literally all my savings. If I need quick access to my money I charge my line of credit which is plenty of time to move funds back over. I mostly avoid meme stocks or if I ride em up I don't hold forever. My goal is to end each month with 15% gain, minimum. It's a poor goal though I'll probably revise it. I haven't failed yet, but if I'm down that goal forces me to take bigger and bigger risks til I'm back up. I think I'll set spefic trading strategy goals about limiting my losses and even limiting my gains to play safer. Have a %gain goal is like telling yourself you won't leave the casino til you made more money than you came in with
Anthony Butler
What is your GEVO exit strategy? Are you long?
Aaron Davis
Bruh I accidentally sold my 3250 shares instead of setting a stop loss.
I feel so sad right now
Elijah Martin
why son
Gavin Parker
My man. Today was wild.
Angel Fisher
Sigh I never get in on the good meme stocks.
Cooper Barnes
Hold til 15-20% loss
Ride until it double my position or stop loss every 30% gain.
Jackson Bailey
Learn from my mistakes, ALWAYS sell after hyped news. Holding through pops is never a good idea or you could end up with shit for supper like with $TTNP.
Adrian Young
guys. I'm pretty sure it's geh-voo
sell a portion once it's able to cover initial investment cost and then let the rest ride long for years if need be. If it turns the other way I bail once down 15%
Asher Baker
If I put in a sell order right now and sell shit at market open will I be able to use my funds again right away or will RH make me wait a day?
I have instant. Trying to dump it all into GEVO
Tyler White
I'll be honest with you, I'm selling on open then looking for a dip to buy back on. There will be a massive sell off in the morning as people want to turn there gains into realized gains and then get back in with a smaller position to see if it keeps climbing. Sure it could go "$10" like people are screaming about on stocktwit but it could also flatline. What people don't seem to realize or talk about is that this is not $GEVOs first test flight. They've done a few already (successful) with the department of defense. A successful test flight doesn't guarantee a contract, right now it's unknown (to me) if GEVO has the infrastructure for commercial production although a buyout would definitely be nice. Their was no doubt the test flight would be successful, in fact. This wasn't a test flight pilot in the Mojave desert, this was a loaded commercial plane carrying passengers. If there's no immediate announcements alluding to a contract or a buyout the volume will drop significantly over the next couple days like $TTNP. but that said, if announcement does come and you don't have shares, you're probably to late for the rocket. High risk, high reward. I'm just going to take my 80% gain and sell on open and if I see a dip but there's still a long of action I'll buy back in and use a trailing stop loss
Daniel Reed
Buying 100 shares of GEVO @ $.51 was my first ever rh trandaction. Wish I'd put more in, but I'm hype nonetheless
If only all the memes were this good.
Jace Moore
jej not bad for my first day trading
Gabriel Fisher
So I guess I'll say it guys, what's next

Is there any way I can use this if I'm not in the US?
Like, making a relative in the US open an American bank account for me or something?
>ARRY NEMO will get approved by the end of the month. They also have phase 2 data for ARRY-797 in August and phase 3 data on Columbus in September
>TLOG Phase 2 results for SHAPE, which showed meaningful improvement in pruritus, were scheduled for this month but the calendar says its now anytime from now to July 30th
>PGNX Getting approved on July 19th. It was pushed back to review some data from Progenics' partner Valeant
>Ceru >Mah nigga For real though, CRLX101 works wonders when combined with other cancer drugs but don't expect any serious movement until they release more trial data
Carter Jenkins
See Be prepared to hold and don't get scared by a red day or two.
Robert Lewis
I should just put 20% of my money in each of these and peace out for a month. if one moons it should cover if everything else goes to shit
Mason Parker
Good list. I just read the SEC filings by TLOG where they noted the dose-dependent improvement of itch for CTCL with SHAPE. Also lesion size was reduced in 12/34 participants of Phase 1 with almost all of the rest being stable in their disease.
The filing made it sound like if SHAPE doesn't pan out, they're out of options, since their other drug wasn't approved. Definitely holding this in anticipation of a nice pop.
Although I'm regretting not selling it today and putting it in GEVO.
I'm thinking of putting GEVO profits into KMPH. You familiar with the categories of abuse-deterrent labeling? Been reading about that and seems like Categories 1 and 2 are a lock for Apazad but who knows how the market will react if/when Category 3 doesn't pan out...
For ARRY, do you think the June approval might be priced in? Haven't been following that one at all.
Kayden Hernandez
>tfw sold 1000 GEVO shares for .48 for only a ten cent profit But at least a meme finally went green right
Oliver Adams
How long does it take for robinhood support to get back to you? My account isn't getting approved and I want to land on the moon.
Nolan Kelly
so when the market opens tomorrow is GEVO going to be listed for .60 or 1.19 like it lists in googles AHT?
Evan Johnson
If you contacted them by email, who knows? I had better luck contacting Robinhood Support's Twitter account.
Leo Morales
There's still pre-market trading. It will open at wherever it closes at the end of pm hours.
spoilers: it won't be .60
Joseph Smith
>tfw 11,500 shares at 0.6 The only thing I'm conflicted about is whether/when to buy in more.
Blake Ramirez
>sell a portion once it's able to cover initial investment cost Even if you got in at closing, isn't it already able to cover initial investment (by selling half the portion - maybe less if it goes up higher pre-market tomorrow)?
If you wait until it hits 2, for example, you'd have to sell a considerably lower portion of the holdings to pay-off the initial buy-in.
Just curious what your magic number is on this one.
Aaron Cooper
What color yacht should I buy with my meme gains?
Christopher Parker
DESIGNATED brown
Mason Long
so the ship has sailed? buying would be a bad idea at this point?
Levi Powell
GEVO will climb up to $2 tomorrow. Cap this
Jeremiah Morris
It shall be called S.S. Pajeet.
Kevin Kelly
Yeah, TLOG is in the same situation TRXC was in. They are completely fucked if SHAPE shits the bed but everything I've read about it makes me hopeful
>Although I'm regretting not selling it today and putting it in GEVO. I'm thinking of putting GEVO profits into KMPH. Same famalam
>You familiar with the categories of abuse-deterrent labeling? Not very but I just did a quick read up on it. If I understand it correctly Category 1 means you can't use it to shoot up, Category 2 means it can't be abused orally or nasally, and Category 3 means it has something mixed in to make you hate it if you try to abuse it. Category 3 would be optimal but I think it'll be fine with Category 2 labeling.
>For ARRY, do you think the June approval might be priced in? I don't believe so.
Luis Phillips
Please put your stop losses in and pay attention tomorrow.
I don't want to see another TTNP.
Nicholas Martinez
At this point why wouldn't they get a contract organized? According to the article I read about it the fuel is cheaper than regular Jet A and they'll also get hippie kudos. This is yuge. YUGE! All they can do is save money with this fuel!
Wyatt Diaz
I use it as my savings account. Invest in a few stocks but mostly ETFs. About 2 grand right now.
Lucas Cruz
Cool. What's your GEVO plan?
>Categories >fda.gov/downloads/drugs/guidancecomplianceregulatoryinformation/guidances/ucm334743.pdf Cat 1 is basically - how easy is it to fuck with the drug to get around the abuse-deterrent safeguards. If you've ever done hydrocodone you might have noticed it's usually mixed with Acetaminophen to prevent abuse (too much and your liver revolts) but it's so easy to do a cold water extraction on it to get the hydrocodone by itself.
Cat 2 - how does it act in your system through the different routes of administration.
Cat 3 - study of "drug liking," indicated by "Emax" the maximum effect of the drug compared to the drug minus the abuse deterrent.
Connor Turner
I budget money into it. Basically if it's not in my monthly spending + 5% buffer or emergency fund then it goes straight into RH.
Christian Miller
>tfw you got into GEVO for 12k shares at $0.60
Adam Brooks
GEVO's 52 week high is $4.36 >currently trading at an ask price of $1.15
Why isn't this going to continue to rocket for weeks/months?
>also, in 2012 it was trading at $150.. I'm assuming the stock split was adjusted for this price
Asher Rivera
I'll probably sell enough at open to cover my position and then the rest around 10 am depending on what it looks like
Easton Green
is the guy with the group slack group still inviting people?
doesn't mean you shouldn't place a stop loss at a reasonable amount
don't go full TTNP
Elijah Brooks
I currently don't have a position in GEVO, just looking at it's track record...
I'm hoping enough of you sell tomorrow to drop it below $1
Christian Ross
I agree with you wholeheartedly. The issue is infrastructure. Do they have enough to produce for commercial application? I would say no, not full scale. So what are the next steps? If they don't get a buyout or want a buyout they'll need to take out a massive loan (could lead to stock taking a hit for a while), or organize contracts for large crop supply, and the lab equipment to produce the fuel as well as HR so they can so a massive hiring.. and then they can talk about signing a contract with an airline or jetfuel provider.
I think the magic question is about the investors, not the company. Are the investors holding long, or just shilling to get gains and pull out? Are the shorter going to buy in to drive this up and them try to pop the bubble? If a downtrend gains momentum and the shorts start to cover and they plow through stop losses this thing could tank. But if it does everyone waiting for a decent buy in will buy
>TLDR: I think $GEVO long looks good, but who the fuck knows what tomorrow holds
Luke Gonzalez
I bought in at .38 yesterday my mans, I'm not going anywhere.
Are you going to buy as soon at it opens? From what I see it's going to be around 1.2 and buying then is essentially a huge risk as we don't know how long this is going to last. A lot of other anons say that this is a long term thing but you can only trust that so much. I only bought 50 stocks but im tempted to just go all in and buy 300 more I just dont want to crash and burn.
Juan James
>the fuel is cheaper than regular Jet A Link the article. Sounds like B.S.
Good posts, thanks for sharing your perspective. I'll sell off to cover my initial position and hold the rest like . If the dip doesn't come, I don't want to be kicking myself.
Jaxon King
see After I sell enough to cover my initial buy-in, I'll wait for a dip or put it into KMPH. I have a horrible track record of predicting where the stocks go.
After browsing their website reading into their history etc etc I'm holding long. This stock is undervalued. Way undervalued
Jaxon Flores
ahhh goood article man, thank you for posting. this kills the stock. Its definitely going to sit a little higher than it was, but people will sell.
>Affordability may take time. The biofuel for Tuesday’s flights, produced by a Colorado company called Gevo, cost roughly $27 per gallon, Sprague said. In contrast, Alaska currently pays about $1.50 per gallon for standard jet fuel made from oil, he said. Gevo CEO Pat Gruber, however, said his company should be able to make fuel for about $3 per gallon once it reaches full production. Should the price of oil rise from its current lows, Gevo could undercut standard jet fuel on price by the early 2020s, he said, and it should also be cheaper than competing biofuel technologies.
Ian Howard
IWhats the likelihood of KMPH's drug being approved by the FDA?
It seems like they got shot down in Early may which halved the stock price. What has changed since then?
The drug is fine. The price drop is due to a labeling issue which will be fixed on Thursday
Jayden Edwards
"The Committee (FDA) determined by a vote of 16 to 4 in that Apadaz (KMPH's drug) should be approved for its proposed indication of the management of acute pain that requires an opioid and voted 18 to 2 against inclusion of abuse deterrent labeling for the product."
"KemPharm Inc (NASDAQ:KMPH), a micro-cap clinical-stage specialty pharmaceutical company that is trading down by more than 55.7% this afternoon. The steep decline is due to the FDA advisory committee’s decision to not recommend the addition of abuse-deterrent labeling to the company’s Apadaz painkiller, after it recommended the drug for approval."
It's almost certain that the drug will be approved by the FDA. I'm not sure why investors would send the stock crashing if the FDA found there wasn't a need to put abuse-deterrent labelling on the packaging. Is it because of potential liability? That i'm not sure.
>When compared to other fuel options, Gevo believes that its renewable ATJ has the potential to offer the most optimized operating cost, capital cost, feedstock availability, scalability, and translation across geographies.
>Alaska Airlines has been a leader in seeking more sustainable fuels and these flights are part of the company’s long-term commitment to its sustainability strategy. Alaska Airlines has been a partner with Gevo in the commercialization of its ATJ, and has committed to other initiatives to reduce GHGs, most recently partnering with Boeing and the Port of Seattle on a $250,000 Biofuel Infrastructure Feasibility Study for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Is it bullshit?
Bentley Wood
No. Boeing posted a tweet about the biofuel today too.
Aaron Howard
How about fucking ARRY? I got memed hard today
Nolan Garcia
link? I dont see it
What did it say at least? That the biofuel is cheaper or no?
Jack Thompson
>falling for the ARRY meme m8...
Hudson Thompson
Any idea on high it might jump, i'm one of those thinking of putting my GEVO profits into this.
