Recently, there appeared a breed of new gopniks in Russia known as "Kezhuals" (pronounced, but not to be confused with "Casuals") They dress in real (but most of the time fake) clothing that is otherwise expensive and like to attach fake Stone Island patches they bought off the internet on everything. They are also quite often have very "National Socialist" views in terms of politics. Most of their activities involve asking "пoяcки зa шмoт" (roughly traslates as "why are you wearing that") while reffering to some clothing brand you are wearing (or even how you are wearing something). If you don't belong to a certain category/subculture of people that the following brand is associated with, they beat you up and possibly try to take whatever you are wearing.
Here are the following brands, along with the subculture they associate with: >Stone Island - Casuals >CP Company - Casuals >MA.STRUM - Casuals >Burrberry - Casuals >Newbalance Shoes - Casuals >Any fully white Sneakers - Casuals >Vintage Adidas Sneakers - Casuals >Fred Perry - Skinheads >White Shoelaces - Skinheads >Red Shoelaces - Skinheads who spilled blood >Doc Martens - Skinheads >Lonsdale - Skinheads >Camoflage - Skinheads >Vans - Skater >Palave - Skater >Thr*sher - Skater >Napapijri - Kezhual Bape, Gucci and all those other brands will get you beat up either way for being a "Fashion Fag" (even though they are those themselves)
They just sound like Russian chavs. This is why I hate the current trend of rich kids wearing adidas tracksuits to uni with their white socks tucked in to their bottoms.
Christopher Powell
They are basically a new breed of Chavs, yes. Before it was gopniks, now it's these "kezhuals".
Dominic Rodriguez
Sounds like some mobster wearing those D&G floral print shirts needs to stab them in the abdomen multiple times and leave them by the roadside.
No. look up "Кeжyaлы" or "пoяcни зa шмoт" on the internet, obviously most of it is going to be in Russian, but you'll find that it is currently a big topic on Clothing/Fashion channels.
Dylan Miller
If you live in a crime ridden shithole, why aren't you carrying a knife/gun?
Jaxon Roberts
In Russia it's not allowed to carry guns. Knifes on the other hand you can carry, but you'd have to constantly prove to cops that it's not a "cold weapon", which is a pain in the ass since there are metal detectors on every subway station.
Evan Roberts
Actually there is no such things in Russia any more. It was like few years ago. Инфa 100% я жe из poccии.
David Taylor
it's freaking russia. they beat you up just for fun because they can
Dylan Campbell
I mean, are they really all gone? There must be some remnants or something.

lolwut? This shit is dead. And it`s been dead for 10 years or so.
>which is a pain in the ass since there are metal detectors on every subway station.
You have no idea about Russian knife-laws and metal detectors in subway.
Nope. It`s dead.

Stop pretending it something new kek. I grew up in Jekaterinburg and people were beat up for "looking faggy" all the time. If you had one of those features running around at evenings was a Russian roulette. >skinny jeans >long hair >colored hair >bright colors >dark colors (=emo) >etc. Visited my old friends last year, seem it's a bit more toned down today considering gopniks are now more fashion-oriented themselves (Nikes or New Balance sneakers, cuffed skinny jeans, sockless even during Russian fucking winter). All the trends I get here in Europe arrive there in 2-5 years.
People are beating up hypebeasts here in the Philippines

can't say I blame them
I remember there was a movement a while in the '00s when punks would go cruising looking for emo kids and soyboys to beat up. There was a specific "emo beatdown" day too, I forgot what calendar day it was.

what country was this in?
Levi Evans
United States. I am in Los Angeles to be more specific.
