- Anyone here have a successful and durable experience in forex trading ? - What's techniques did you use ? - With how much money did you begin ? - Gives me advice for a beginner like me, please.
I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why? Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way : They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.
I think this method is the best to learn forex or index cfd:
Depositing tiny amount less than € 200 and try to make it grow until 1000, once in 1000 reached 900 withdraw. With the remaining € 100, try to grow them again to € 1,000, remove 900 ... etc. Do it 10 times successfully Instead of dropping € 50,000, losing after six months, redeposit € 20,000 and lose again after one week.
Warning : this thread is only for winner in forex market.
this is gonna be a dank thread, i can just FEEL it

Max out your leverage and then put your house up as well. You can't lose. It's forex!

Forex is a scam, with all the libor rigging and bank rigging, you're going to lose. Like a casino you'll have ups and downs, but most normalfags will be down. You'll literally never be more stressed in your entire life.

95% of Forex independent traders go broke in the first 6 months. Save your money. Seriously people have better luck in sports betting and betting randomly than on Forex. There, I saved you months and years of struggling.

>Forex is a scam
found the nerd who thought he would be hot shit at forex but ended up playing it stupid and lost early, got demoralized, and instead of admitting that HE is the problem opts to blame everything but himself.

Opened a live account after 2 months of profitable trading, put in the minimum $250.
Got that feel of nerves/excitement like when I put my first demo trade on, it should go away over time, it's not a good emotion to trade on.
Feels weird going from 50:1 leverage on my demo account to 200:1 on live(british), I'm still gonna trade as if i was on 50:1, it should hopefully reduce my risk.
good luck!

Listen lads, if you want to make money in forex put away your 1m, or 5m charts. 1h chart MINIMUM. yes you will need wider stops, just start with smaller lots until you build trust in yourself and your strategy.

I've been seeing this thread for years now, always the same mentally challenged copypasta. the thread is like a shaddy porn theater in the neighbourhood you know about but never got in, always asking yourself, how the fuck does this get any replies.

we just treat it as a forex general, people discuss forex, the OP won't just make a "forex general" for some reason

yeah if he actually made a general but i'd still shit on it people don't understand why people expose themselves to currencies and the bucketshops are just selling shovels to gold diggers

With a reliable broker, knowledge and only trading the main 3 currency pairs, it's not so risky.
Sure you might lose money, but it's usually your own fault.
Either way, only invest money you can afford to lose and nobody gets hurt. It's just like any other investment m8
we get alot of
>I bet my entire margin balance at 200:1 leverage and the market moved against me, so i got margin called and blew my account WTF!?!?! forex is rigged!!!
types around here.
Aaron Miller
it's not so much that it's not risky, it's just -EV you have an increased spread due to slippage and lack of capital, then you have fees and commission, which, will be higher with less capital
the thing is, is that you can't really have an edge other than seeing what the herd is most likely gonna do. you'll never be able to make any waves nor do big players themselves to have the capital to justify the risk/holding of mass currency to move price while being able to defend against whalers
if you can understand macro economics there's better instruments for you to chase, like options
Luke Williams
how long have you been holding those positions? account size?
is that a demo account?
Ryder Mitchell
I'm not gonna refute your points m8 because you're right, but it's not to say profit can't be made even as a small fish.
It might not be the most effecient way of investing, but it can still be done.

Have an FXCM account I mess around with on the side. Have been trying to setup some small carry trades but the volatility keeps me from putting in real money. Positioned now long USD/JPY, NZD/USD and NZD/JPY. Not convinced Brexit will happen and see the Fed moving sooner rather than later. Prepared to hold for months.

fxcm is a corrupt bucketshop if you start making real money they'll fuck you in the ass if you don't do it the right way (you can only take extremely small profits consistently, or they'll just block your account to control their risk)
get a reputable FCM (or interactive brokers) and trade FX futures on the CME
alternatively use LMAX
lastly interactive broker's spot FX solution
Parker Thompson
i'm actively successful
for the guys saying it's too volatile, you're not supposed to have positions on during major news nor are you supposed to hold overnight nor over the weekend
