I like and own these, but that's just my opinion.

Many influencers and people involved in the sneaker business appreciated the black pigeons, maybe that's why.
Also they were pretty limited and sold out quickly even though there hasn't been any SB hype for a while now. So there was some hype behind the pigeons and they made people interested in SB's again.

Just hate myself for paying 200€ for mine and they were a half size too small. Couldn't find my size for a few weeks and settled for tts and shortly after that I saw people selling pairs for close to retail, including the size I needed.
My country only got 2 pairs per size plus anything people managed to cop on nike.com
