Basically you need outwear performance brands. North Face is obvious but a bit too played out now ; try Berghaus, Rab, Jack Wolfskin, I've even seen some wear Karrimor. Avoid patagonia. Sportswear brands are also obvious. Nike is probably the go to for tracky bottoms, make sure they're cuffed at the bottom. They've also caught onto some 'luxury' brands, like EAX and Hugo Boss.
