I started wearing exclusively Onitsuka and Palladium entirely through my own research. I discovered Onitsuka at Journeys when they still sold them because I needed a shoe more comfortable than Vans for walking but didn't want to just get nike or adidas shit like literally everyone else in the world. Found Palladium by looking for waterproof boots that aren't as edgy as combat boots and because I didn't want to just get Timbs like literally everyone else in the world.
Crafting a full-on fit is a little harder to do without inspiration, but literally just buying one specific brand because it's a fad is pleb tier. I don't care if she's in high school, I don't care if it's honest, it's pleb shit. I found my own shit when I was a kid, why can't the plebs?
