Hopefully I won't need to make a new thread, but anyone has any idea on how to clean the inside of these Reindeer boots? The inside is like a moquette, but I don't think there's a sole to remove and after a long time wearing they are now dirty on the inside.

I'm buying my first pair of leather boots.

I'm between sizes with little girly feet, I'm a 40.5 in EU sizes (but live in the UK which translates to either a 7 or just under a 7 depending on how the shoes fit, US size 8, it's a mess, really).

Wondering if I should step down half a size, since apparently leather stretches anyway and you should account for that.

Any suggestions? Getting them online but I can do free returns, so I guess it's no big deal, but I plan on wearing them at the end of the week for a night out.

I like my Red Wings but their main draw was always that if I bide my time I can get them for less than a new pair of Timberlands at the mall, I would never even consider buying a pair at full price, at that point you're better off looking at boots in a higher bracket to get the most for your money
