Picked this up two days ago. It reminds me of a grail I hope to one day acquire and it's not even close to being a replica.

I like the look of seiko watches but they're too small for my wrist and look weird. I ended up with this hamilton pictured (not my wrist). Had mine for over a decade now and going strong. Wear it daily, looks great, get compliments all the time.

Only three kinds of watch people I respect: Casio wearers, Seiko wearers, and Rolex wearers.

Casio wearers because it's understandable that you simply need to tell the time.
Seiko wearers because they have the extra cash to get a watch that's both stylish and tactical.
Rolex wearers because those watches are essentially jewelry and they know it.

Of course you can substitute other brands in it like Timex for Casio, Omega for Rolex or Hamilton/Tissot for Seiko but you get what I mean. People who wear Michael Kors, Fossil, Gucci, and other "fashion" watches show that they only appreciate watches for face value. They're tacky, to sum it up.
