They regularly looted uniforms from other nations to use as camouflage, but you can't seriously believe they wore random junk they got from who knows where, right?
Early on when the money was still there every single soldier, even the lowest of the low, got decked out with fitted uniforms, suits, and various hygiene products so they wouldn't look unsightly. Even towards the end of the war when shit started falling apart they still at the very least got uniforms that were tailored.
