Should I wear a watch for fashion?

Should I wear a watch for fashion?

I don't care about 'em, but I look a tiny bit more put together with one.

>should I wear a watch

No. Invest a better smartphone.

Basically all people wear watches purely for the anesthetics, otherwise the smartphone industry would have destroyed the watch industry

Yeah man, they look good. Here's my Omega Ray II.

A Seiko 809 is like $70 and it's a mechanical watch.

That's the main reason why I bought mine but I actually end up checking it a lot. You can't or shouldn't always check your phone and so that's where a watch comes in handy, I also think it looks more natural.

I meant Orient obviously.

Sure. There are plenty of vintage pairs on eBay that look nice, all for under $100. Timex, Casio, orient, vostok, etc - all perfectly fine.

Which color SNK should I get?

> purely for the anesthetics

this is so true. that's why i love wearing my vintage Submariner when I go for any medical procedure now

if fashion is your goal go for a cheap watch from aliexpress

>aliexpress

i'm not joking. why spend even a hundred bucks on a seiko when you can spend 12 for something that doesn't matter to you and also looks decent?

Don't get caught up in the subculture, you'll waste your money on retarded shit
Don't buy watches meant for 3rd worlders. Seriously. Those use trash parts and are meant for people who live below the equator and will never comprehend needing a quartz battery replacement, nor have they ever, because time is such a meaningless concept in a world where only the fastest girls aren't AIDS ridden.
This is the only true answer. Buy a fake rolex or something and you'll have more character than any snob who spends half his paycheck so he can show off to people who don't care about his miserable existence.
Inb4 if he's rich it's nbd
If he's rich then he wouldn't be asking about watches on Veeky Forums

SEETHING

>Don't get caught up in the subculture, you'll waste your money on retarded shit
this so much, I couldn't decide on what watch to get for a month until i decided to keep it simple and not dirt cheap. only problem with this is that it does tick loudly, but only noticeable in my room at night when i put it up, which you can't hear when it's in a box / drawer.

probably gotten just as many compliments with it than if i were to have an omega or higher end watch, most normies don't care that much about watches

>most normies don't care that much about watches
THIS is the key point. Watches are a hobby, you get what you like because you like it. Period. Only other watch nerds are going to get excited over your obscure, expensive, wrist decoration device. You do it for you. What fits your style, budget, and taste.

No, that just makes you sound like a poorfag kek

There has been no good advice in this thread.

T. spent thousands on a fucking wrist timer because it says rolex and thinks that he's special

A fake accomplishes the same thing, being flashy with normies and stacies, except I don't have to blow a wad on it.
