I'm already in school, but would like to start saving for a house 10 years from now or so, or at least something that'll grow by then

Get an online low interest checking and savings account with ally,ING, etc... or get an account with a local credit union. Wait till you save up at least a months salary then do whatever the hell you want to do.

Get a credit card, build your credit until you can get at least a 5k limit. Max out the credit card in cash. Declare bankruptcy. Invest the 5k in a Roth IRA. Save up money for the next seven years until it disappears from your record.

Robin Hood let's you make free trades, but it's handicapped, shitty and limited but it's free. It runs in Android so you will need MEmu to run it on your PC.
I say pick up a gold etf like nugt and make two trades a day.
Buy during reversals and sell it all when it goes up, you will make money on the price difference.
Example,
>buy $1000 of nugt @ $98 (during a reversal)
>Next day there is a 8%+ change
>Now you have $1080 of nugt shares
>Sell immediately
>You just made $80 in one day.

Wells Fargo is fine too but you can't make any interest off their savings accounts. Your APY will be about .01 or .03% with Ally you get a full 1%.
It's doesn't seem like much (and you won't get much to be honest) but it does make a difference if you start up a savings account with the idea of SAVING money for later.
Wells Fargo and Chase are the fucking best though when it comes to ease of use and availability so I would keep at least a checking account with them for sure.
